Blue Chickory is in the neighborhood of Stoney Creek, where you can enjoy the beach at Lake Monocan, a 27 hole golf course, and Stoney Creek Park. Stoney Creek is located directly along route 151, famous in Virginia for over a dozen wineries, breweries, and cideries. The property is an 8 minute walk on a paved path to the Stoney Creek clubhouse where guests can enjoy a round of golf, tennis, or a meal and cocktails at Iron & Ale Restaurant. And just 25 minutes away is Stoney Creek's sister neighborhood Wintergreen, known for skiing, amazing vistas, spa, and dining. Plus, some of the best hiking in the state is along the Blue Ridge Parkway, less than 20 mins away.

The property itself is on a large, private lot, and is laid out as follows:

Backyard:

- Heated pool with plenty of space to soak up the sun
- Deck space with outdoor dining, propane firepit, gas grill, and plenty of bench seating
- Huge yard to let kids and dogs play, with playset

Inside, main level:

- Main living room with big screen TV, comfortable seating, and wood-burning and gas fireplaces
- Dining table can seat 12
- Bright and airy second dining space off of kitchen, seats 7
- Fully stocked kitchen with granite counters, stainless appliances, and gas range.
- Additional living room space with gas fireplace and wet bar
- BR1: King bed with en-suite bathroom with double vanity and soaker tub

- Laundry room with full size washer and dryer

Inside, upstairs:

- BR2: King bed with en-suite bathroom with indoor sauna
- BR3: Two twin-over-full bunk beds
- BR4: Queen bed and full trundle with skylight and dimming shades
- BR5: Sofa bed with a queen bed (*Note: This room can only be accessed through BR2)
- Full hall bath

Guest Suite (over detached garage- accessed via covered breezeway from main house):

- Common space with pullout sofa and smart TV

Other things to note:

- We welcome dogs! Your one time $200 pet fee covers up to 4 dogs. Simply register your pets when you select the number of guests for your reservation.
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and deck.
- The living room, guest suite, and two bedrooms feature smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services. We do not subscribe to cable
- Pool heating is $100/day
- Pack n play and high chair provided
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
- Linens and towels provided
