The space
From crisp sea breezes to the pristine location and a leisure playground on your doorstep, The Tides Beachhouse is the perfect coastal escape for you and the family to relax, reconnect and revitalise. Feel miles from anywhere in tranquil surroundings, yet still amongst it all! A short stroll away is beautiful Bagnalls Beach Reserve, Dutchies Beach and the thriving hub of Nelson Bay CBD with its boutique stores, supermarkets, ice creameries, destination restaurants, cafes, and bustling marina.

Perched amongst the treetops, The Tides Beach House spans two fully furnished levels and won’t disappoint. If you’re looking for space for the family or a group of friends, flexibility to suit everyone’s holiday habits and a classic coastal-inspired vibe, you’ve found it! With so much open space and natural light, kids can play freely or get comfy and chill in front of the tv while you get a little work or study done or privately entertain friends and family indoors or out. This listing provides access to the entire home, quality linen and towels, a coffee pod machine, an outdoor shower, BBQ facilities and plenty of parking on and off-street.

Nelson Bay and its neighbouring beaches are jampacked with options for family activities. Check out the incredible coastal views from Little Beach Lighthouse or Gan Gan Lookout, or you can hike up Mt Tomaree Head Summit Walk for panoramic views if you're super keen.

There’s an easy bike path through the forest from Shoal Bay to Fingal Bay, dolphin-watching cruises from Nelson Bay, or simply take the kids swimming in the calm waters at Bagnalls Beach! Nelson Bay Marina is often abuzz with live entertainment and activities, and with boat ramps peppered around the Port Stephens shores, why not put the boat in for a day out on the water or a spot of fishing?

The whole family will love Toboggan Hill Park and its nearby waterslides in Salamander or a trip to Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary at One Mile. Or just mozy through the local markets on the weekend.

This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. 2. Choose between a refundable deposit of $500 (plus admin fee $15) or a non-refundable damage waiver of $50 (plus non-refundable admin fee $15).
3. Sign our rental agreement
