The room type you had booked did not have a Kitchen if you had chosen the Kitchen Studios there would have been a separate Kitchen with the sink and cooking equipment more to your liking.

Sorry to hear the internet wasn't working well for you, we always encourage guests to let us know this while staying here. As for air conditioning you could have requested a room with this. We also provide fans with the notice visible in the office. Security lights are part of standard equipment for guests security.

Hi Ross ,we are sorry to receive your review of this nature .However we did wait for some time for you to arrive early as you had mentioned. We as Hoteliers have the right to take payment 48hrs prior to your arrival ,as we discussed over the phone you had no idea what time you would be coming back,so we did what we could for you and took the opportunity and said we would set your room up prior to your arrival . Office hours are from 8am until 8pm that is correct ,and you did call us , however the standard checkin time is still 2pm ,but we did try to accommodate you the best we could by leaving your room unlocked as you were not sure what time you may be back. We were open when your arrived which you would have noted the office light was on so hence you were more than welcome to pop in if needed. We are also had to go out between cleans and re-opening time which as Hotieliers we take that opportunity when we can.

The sign is not in the cupboard as you stated, I clearly said it was right above the bench where you plug the jug in. You acknowledged that there must have been a sign as you stated you didn't see a $20 fee, which it doesn't say, it clearly states we can charge a cleaning fee if left in an unacceptable condition. You clearly knew there was provisions for cleaning the dishes as you stacked them ALL in the bowl where the dish cloth, tea towel and dish washing liquid was. The fee charged to you was the minimum for the extra time taken to clean your room.

If you stayed in the standard studio they are the only ones without hotplates, all the other rooms do.

Thank you ,as you booked an agent with your credit card we keep the cost down for our guests by not charging the 2.5% as you should have noticed with your receipt.
