“Even close to the HWY, no traffic noise”

“This property is old! The parking is terrible, the spaces are very tight and there is ONE handicap for the whole hotel and it’s at the bottom of a incline, very unfriendly…as well the bathrooms have no grab bars and the bathtub is so high that getting in for an elderly person to shower is not safe. Our room was very small, no closet, had to ask for hangers to place on coat hooks. There is an elevator but also a lot of stairs within the hotel. I would not recommend…also pricey for the least...

“The staff was so helpful and friendly. We had the family suite, which was the only guest room on the first floor. Also we have a nook area outside my room, so we had lost of extra space to enjoy. Very nice stay.”

“The hotel was neat and nicely furnished. It has a nice little coffee shop. It also has a busy bar with great service. Totally enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is the lack of parking. There is plenty of on street parking but the City of Nelson has plenty of meters to take advantage of us lowly tourists.”
