Everything was great except breakfast was only from 8-9 so we were not able to enjoy it both days as we planned. Other than that everything was perfect!

I didn't eat breakfast but the wife said it was good, nothing great but good. There are not many food choices in the town anymore but we really enjoyed the Mexican Restaurant on Canal Street, food was excellent and so was the service. Friendly people

Cozy and cute

Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. That is all you need if you are in the area to hike.

The whole experience was a new one for use so it’s hard to compare, but overall things went well and the breakfast was worth the extra few dollars.

Excellent property!!

My wife and I took a weekend hiking getaway from Dayton just before Halloween. The Primrose House is VERY clean, food is excellent! Big value here, located close to dozens of great trails (check out Burr Oak!). Nelsonville is very friendly and easy to navigate...good food in town too!

Room was clean. No water pressure. Breakfast ok. Toast, sausage, hashbrowns, and some sheet pancake?They can't control the neighbors, but a barking dog left outside was a turn off. Bed was very uncomfortable and there was extension cords left around. Wires are easily managed with a few dollar items from Amazon. It was cheaply priced but we left early due to bed and weather (second part not their fault. 3 stars

Quaint B&B

Overall we had a nice stay. Clean, quiet and nice location in the small town of Nelsonville. Only comment on advice related to breakfast is get there when it's planned to start as there's a set amount of food and that is it. Food was good but we were a little late getting to the first come first serve style. But overall was a very nice stay.

This was our first experience at a bed & breakfast and it was wonderful! Jennifer is a great hostess spoiling us with her fabulous breakfasts. The house was very comfortable and the location was perfect! Nelsonville has so much history. We will definitely be back!

Nice and Clean Bed and Breakfast

We enjoyed our stay in Nelsonville while we explored Hocking Hills and the surrounding area. Breakfast was delicous and coffee was ready to go. We enjoyed sitting on the porch relaxing in the early evening and walked downtown for dinner at Rhapsody. Dinner and service there was great!

Hocking Hills Victorian Stay

Great stay in a old Victorian Town property with it’s old bones giving off all the typical queaks and squeaks. Breakfast was great with Angel and Cherokee, the conversations were even better yet. Property is in Nelsonville which is quiet and quaint but still within range of parks. We would go back.

Not amazing at first, but they made it right!

My husband and I were in the area for a weekend getaway. It was our first experience at a bed and breakfast so we weren’t sure what to expect. Well, a B&B is not for us. We were super uncomfortable staying in a house with other people (especially for an anniversary getaway). You have your own room and bathroom, which was nice, but still not our cup of tea. The room and bathroom were clean and the breakfast was delicious, but we did have one surprise! When we woke up we were surprised to find that our bag of chocolates had been opened, by a mouse! Management was super nice and upgraded us to a cabin, which was much more our style! So, in the end, we were thankful for the little mouse! We would definitely use 1st choice cabins again, just not the B&B. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond!

Everything was very clean. The breakfasts were large and great!! We did not need to have lunch! Very nice, well managed home. We had a late check in, and they had to meet us there. They arrived 20 minutes ahead of our arrival time. would like to have hangers in our closet. Would like to stay here again!

Lovely stay in old fashioned B&B

Enjoyable stay with attentive owners. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Wonderful homemade breakfast that changed every day. Enjoyed the hot tub after long days of hiking. This was an easy drive to Athens, lake hope, and hocking hills.

Great stay at B&B!!! Jennifer was excellent host/cook!! Breakfast was awesome both days with biscuits and gravy were super!! Room was ver up nice and house was period correct with renovations! Will stay with Jennifer and her team again!!! A+++++++

Cute, quaint place! Would stay again!!!!

Clean, accommodating and very friendly host. Yummy breakfast every morning! Not much to do around town but I’m assuming because of COVID things were not open. Restaurants nearby were good! Not too bad of a drive to get to the gorgeous hiking trails and nature spots! Overall we enjoyed our stay!!!
