“Loved my stay here. Very nicely run lodge— a great choice in the area that provides an upscale experience for a very reasonable amount. The staff were all lovely, the owner ever-present, making sure you’re having a great stay. But the stand-outs were the safari guides, who were so friendly and knowledgeable and worked very hard to ensure a great experience in the park. Saw tons of animals—so many rhinos!—but sadly no tigers, though the guides were super committed to trying to spot.”

“I would recommend a brief stay to those who are interesting in relaxing on hotel property. Seems a bit confined/restrictive for those desiring more independent activities outside the property. Pros: Hotel facilities, scenery, delicious breakfast Cons: Hotel didn't seem to have the booking from Orbitz--especially stressful when you're traveling to foreign region with young children. Hotel up-charged for credit card usage at front desk despite Orbitz guaranteed rate; in fact, I later...
