“Great location. If you don’t have any walking limitations the Outside Inn is in walkable distance to the charming Historical Downtown area with cute shops and restaurants. We stayed in the Rock Climbing Suite, which felt like a cozy little cabin and very clean. It also had a rock climbing wall in the room, which I wasn’t expecting. The heater in the room may be a little louder than some people are used to but we had no issues with it. The front desk person was very nice when I spoke to her...

“What a wonderful hotel! So much charm and character with all the comfort and amenities of a "modern" hotel. Our room in a repurposed 1800s home across the parking lot from the hotel proper was small, but quiet and lovely. The complementary breakfast was delicious, and the the vibe and bluegrass music in the "Saloon" was so fun and lively. Also, Kim, who greeted us at the front desk, is such a helpful, delightful person.”

“The room was very clean and cozy. We were there on a cold week and the room had great climate control to keep us warm. The bed was comfortable offering a good night sleep. ”

“Great location, quiet, and roomy. Breakfast starts a bit late, if you plan on leaving in the morning like I did. And, there was not central heating, just a space heater and in wall heater. Would recommend for those who are crashing for the night and heading to Tahoe for skiing and snowboarding!”
