Hill Country Bungalow - Minutes from Attractions

Cozy bungalow in a quiet country neighborhood only a few minutes drive from the bars, restaurants, shops and live music in both downtown New Braunfels and Gruene. Perfect for couples or traveling professionals, the bungalow is well equipped offering a full kitchen, new King bed, and access to your own washer/dryer. Watch Netflix and other streaming apps from your chaise couch. Relax with the local wildlife on your back balcony or fire-up the kettle grill and enjoy a cigar by your outdoor chiminea. Parking is a breeze with your own off-street pad large enough for two vehicles and a private walk leading to your bungalow entrance.

Less than 5 miles from the bars, amazing restaurants and shops of downtown New Braunfels, Landa Park, Wurst Fest, Schlitterbahn and popular float sites on the Comal and Guadalupe rivers. Cozy Bungalow

We enjoyed our stay, however the place was not as large as we had thought it would be. It was nice. clean and comfortable, but they could use more plugs--everyone has more electronic devices these days and we had a hard time finding vacant plugs. Also there's only a small table with stools for meals. The owner was very nice and accommodating.

Treehouse Feel

The layout was perfect for our weekend get away. To have such large trees at eye level to enjoy the birds was exciting; truly gave the illusion of being in a tree house. The bed and sofa were both comfortable and the fireplace heater was a nice treat as the weather turned cold and rainy. The healthy amenities an added bonus. A curved shower curtain to add depth to the shower was the only thing I would have added. Thank you for the comfortable landing spot.

Celebrated our 33rd Anniversary...couldn't have found a better place!!! description: simple, calm, felt as we were there by ourselves, deer walked below us sitting on the back deck, watched Red birds playing...stayed 2 nights...no loud noises, no traffic...badly needed get away for us...very clean...

Relaxing and Cozy

Everything was great! Checking in was seamless. We could smell the cleanliness when we entered the house. It was small and simple, but had everything a couple could need for a few days. I got to sit outside on the little balcony and watch deer grazing too! After some busy days in the city, it was nice to come back to such a peaceful place. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Getaway

The bungalo was so cute, very clean and in a peaceful quiet neighborhood! We enjoyed seeing deer and red birds while sitting on the private back balcony. The bungalow was well appointed with all that you could need for a wonderful getaway! Close to many great locations including Gruene. We would definitely come back!

Fun Stay!

We stayed for NYE and it was a great location for a show at Gruene Hall. The place was cute and clean and exactly as described. We used the charcoal grill one night and it worked great. Even saw a few deer. We would come back again!

Excellent getaway spot!

This cabin is such a great spot to get away from the noisy city and fast paced life. The deer and wildlife were so fun to watch on the property! The host is thoughtful and sweet. The highlight of the cabin for my husband was the EOTech coffee cups to drink from(haha!) Overall an amazing experience and will be back!

WONDERFUL Hideaway!

Quite possible the best VRBO Stay we've had! Cute little Bungalow nestled in a quiet neighborhood just outside New Braunfels Texas. Short Drives to all the cool places to visit! Our host is AMAZING. She worked with us to move our visit date with NO hiccups. She answered questions "same day" and more often than not "SAME HOUR." And seeing the HERDS of deer each evening and morning was a big bonus! HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!

Short but Sweet

Restful Getaway

We were wanting a quiet, clean place we could stay for a couple of nights so we could visit relatives and walk the San Antonio Botanical Garden. We visited, walked and enjoyed the outdoors , but could come back in the afternoon and enjoy the peaceful place provided for us. Great place. We would recommend it to our friends. Thank you for the great place to relax. We,too, enjoyed seeing the deer so close in the morning!

Cozy, comfy and clean

Super comfortable stay

My husband and I stayed the whole weekend to float the river for his birthday and absolutely loved this place. It was perfect for the 2 of us! Kristie was super helpful with anything we needed as well!

Sweet little house in the hills

It was the perfect place to stay for our play at the John Newcombe Tennis Camp. It was just 1 mile away and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Plus, it was super clean and private.

Love this bungalow

The inside of the bungalow was decorated similar to rustic chic and looked newly renovated! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the amenities! Seeing the family of deer daily was a treat. Texted the owner once to help get the Netflix working on the TV. She was there in a few minutes & got us set up. Very nice and helpful. Recommend🙌
