B&B a New Haven

“It was a small room and had to squeeze between the bed and wall to get in. Almost had to use the foot stool to get in the bed secondary to being so high up and the mattress was extremely firm. The pillows were super soft which did not go with the firm bed, woke up several times in the night to re fluff the pillows and still woke up with a sore neck. The thing that bothered me the most was the curtain in the bathroom was screwed to the wall and you could not close them for privacy. The building...

“Can't say enough wonderful things about our stay. Larry and Linda are so sweet and their little scottie Maddie is adorable. They make you feel like your home. The B&B is spotless, quaint and comfortable. They even reopened their hot tub for us. That made the trip. Sitting in the hot tub while the snow was falling was surreal, like something out of a Hallmark movie. The breakfast was delicious. “Rooms was excellently renovated; all the comforts of home; great bed & pillows. High water pressure in the shower. Breakfast plentiful & tasty. Steep rocky stairs outside, so a warning those with physical handicaps climbing. Albeit, this is a historic location (including the stairs) and that is also the beauty of it. Huge outside yard to sit, eat, listen to music, watch the fire, etc. I had a challenge managing the heater, a set of instructions would had helped and/or I could had asked. The...

“Loved the wine cellar room…convenient location and Laura was attentive and very responsive. We arrived late and after letting the hosts know, they had the lights on in the room for us. The hosts have thought of everything and made the stay very relaxing. Will definitely stay here again.”
