“The basement apartment was lovely! Our kids enjoyed the playset and bikes, but couldn’t stop talking about the giant swing.The location was perfect, the landscaping was beautiful and the property was so well taken care of. We only interacted with Janice and Aaron a couple times during our stay, but they were kind and helpful each time. We hope we can stay again in the future and stay longer! ”

“What a blessing to find this beautiful historic place in northern Lancaster County. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the care in restorations was evident. Breakfasts were filling and delicious. The thing we enjoyed most was the wonderful conversations around the table with the hosts and other guests. ”

“Although it is a century-plus in age, the inn looked great. The innkeeper (Dennis) was friendly, knowledgeable of the area, and attentive during check-in, breakfast, and check-out. Just ten minutes from hiking, shopping, and eating/drinking...will return again!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here! The owner was so thoughtful about providing everything one could need. The 2 beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. She left us food for a quick breakfast (cereal, muffins, etc). It was all really good. We also enjoyed visiting the little goat to feed him crackers! The location was rural, but close to everything. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you!”

“My second visit—an 8-minute ride from Lancaster train station. The garden/pound behind the historic house is a tranquil retreat, and a township park nearby offers shady walking. I always head to R.B. Shap (5-min drive) for shoes; Lititz offers dining options. My hosts, Diane and Scott, are welcoming and affable. I will gladly return.”

“My wife and I were so happy with our hostess that we decided to stay another night. Every morning, we had a three-course meal, and it was delicious. After telling Kimberly that we were leaving early one morning she made sure we had it early enough so we could make our appointment. The rooms were always comfortable, and the bed was nice as well. Kimberly made sure we had everything we needed including extra towels and anything else that we asked for. ”
