Enjoy a getaway on the scenic Housatonic River/Lake Lilinonah in New Milford, CT

Our private waterfront home includes a newly-renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, counter seating for up to 4, as well as kitchen seating for up to six and dining room seating for up to 14, 4 bedrooms that sleep up to 10 guests, a fully-equipped rec room with an in-home theater, dartboard, foosball, pool and air hockey tables, and snack bar. The master bedroom boasts a curtain wall of picture windows with unparalleled views of the river and foliage. Bedrooms 2 and 3 offer full beds, while bedroom 4 offers 2 twin bunks beds.

Great location on the Housatonic

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house type property on the river. Great views and located close to trails and parks. The host was super helpful and quick to respond to questions. Recommend!

Upscale cabin feel

Stunning views of the river and the game room/home theatre was perfect for a passing rainstorm and at night. Felt secluded but also close to shopping and restaurants. Host responded quickly and was responsive. Feedback about updates (i.e. carpeting, upholstery cleaning, cookware) was welcomed. There were two one-seater kayaks which was different from the description but plenty of life jackets. Good fishing spot off the dock!

Great Place for Easter Weekend with the Family!

Was a little nervous because there weren’t any reviews for the house when I booked it, but I reached out to the owner to ask why and he explained. Definitely going to book this property again! It was a great meeting place for my family, has a good game room and being right on the water is perfect. The views from this place are beautiful! Jonathan was very responsive to my questions and got back to me in a timely manner. The property is great! It’s so beautiful outside and I love that it’s on the river. I went with my family for Easter weekend and the bedroom space was perfect! 3 bedrooms with queen or double beds and a bunk room with 2 bunkbeds. There were also some air mattresses in the basement. The house is 3 floors, so just make sure your party is good with stairs. Basement is the entertainment and game room (has a mini fridge), the next floor up is all the bedrooms and a bathroom, the top floor is the living room, kitchen, dining room (has a large table which is great for a big group), and another bathroom. There is a grill outside and access to the water. There are kayaks for use and a deck with seating to hang out on. For getting to the property, my suggestion would be to look at what the entrance looks like on whatever you use for a maps app. The house is on a main road and you might miss the driveway.
