Modern Marvel 2 blocks from French Quarter & Frenchmen

The Suite is located in the picturesque Marigny Triangle, 2 blocks from the French Quarter, 1 block from Frenchmen St & 2 blocks from the streetcar. The building was recently converted from a warehouse used to make Mardi Gras floats into a modern marvel by its Architect owners. It features private parking, private patio, community courtyard, security systems w/ video cameras, keypad locks, 13 ft ceilings, new beds & Keurig coffee maker. Sleeps up to 6.

Suite A is 1,300 SF of unique, modern space that includes high ceilings and a spacious living room with a wall-mounted TV and sofabed, an open concept kitchen fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, and a dining table with seating for six. Master bedroom with King size bed and TV, a 2nd separate bedroom with a Queen-sized bed and TV (premium hotel brand mattresses were recently purchased), and 2 full bathrooms. The 2 bedrooms are accessed from a hallway (not through other rooms like many houses in NOLA) and are completely private. A beautiful, private patio with string lights overhead makes it a quaint space to relax.

I almost don't want to tell you how nice this rental was. I want to keep it all to myself! It was the best place we've stated in New Orleans, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, walking distance to French Quarter and off road parking for our small car! We loved it. Had a great time. Would book again!

This home was amazing and so are the owners! Excellent communication; home exceeded my expectations and we felt welcomed and at home! The home was well stocked and we lacked for nothing. The unit is centrally located, close to the French Quarter and the owners recommendations and suggestions were spot on and helpful!

Irelis and David are friendly, accommodating and responsive. We stayed for three weeks in New Orleans in January. Although we ate often in restaurants, the kitchen was great and we were able to cook comfortably. The location is superb with plenty to do within walking distance. I can’t wait to come back!

The property was just as pictured and we couldn't have asked for better hosts! They were very kind, responded right away and not to mention accommodating. The space was so clean, and open with the perfect little touches that made our stay special. We especially appreciated the little goodie basket in the kitchen, and the list of recommended restaurants and places to visit. It was all laid out in a well organized booklet on the coffee table. The location is amazing as well. We will definitely stay there again during our next visit to New Orleans.

The property was spotless. Great location for both the French Quarter and Frenchman's Street. Pictures are very accurate. The hosts were wonderful and extremely helpful with showing us the unit and providing much valuable information on restaurants and things to do. This property is truly a ten. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly go back.

This place seemed too good to be true when I first checked the listing on VRBO, but it lived up to, and surpassed our expectations. The building is a modern, solid, well constructed work of contemporary art in the middle of the Marigny. The interior is clean, comfortable, and well designed, and the neighborhood was safe, yet close to the French Quarter, and reasonably quiet even for Mardi Gras weekend. Irelis, our host, was helpful and always immediately responded to our inquiries. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a memorable vacation!

This was by far our easiest and best stay in NOLA. Irelis and Dave were super responsive to any request we had (we rented a car and were worried it wouldn’t fit in the parking spot, but it did!) and left a cute basket full of snacks and waters for us as a welcome gift. The place was super clean and perfect for our family of four. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Modern Marigny Suites says it all. Stay in historic Marigny with all of the modern contemporary amenities of home. Quiet, comfortable and relaxing. All of the action is just blocks away, whether you walk or Uber this is the best of the best.

1919 truly is a perfect VRBO. The pictures accurately describe the unit and the hosts were very friendly, eager to share useful information about NOLA and quick to respond to communication. 1919 was the most immaculate VRBO I have stayed at with a comfortable modern atmosphere. We were very impressed with all of the features of this property and especially since we read that the owners were architects who designed it. It had all the modern conveniences and was very roomy for my husband, my son and me. It was also great to have a dedicated parking space since my husband and I drove there and parking is very limited in New Orleans. They even provided snacks and coffee and tea for the coffee maker so it was nice we didn't have to run out immediately to the grocery store when we got there. The unit is very close to so many attractions and we either walked or took an uber to get around. We also appreciated all of the recommendations for things to do, and places to eat and shop. Check-in and check-out was very easy and smooth and everything was spotless. Our hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it!

PHENOMENAL! Absolutely The Best VRBO in NOLA! Have used VRBO for many many many years and been visiting NOLA for most of my life and with friends in tow, typically stay in the City. Hands down, both 1919 Burgundy rentals I stayed in are best in the Crescent City! Irelis & Dave are amazing! Personable, attentive, friendly, but absolutely hands off even tho they live in same cool, fresh, modern building! Walk in greeting to a superb welcome basket & local beers. Suite B (spent weekend here before moving to Suite A for another week) is modern, cozy, homey, beautiful, well maintained and stocked space. Each room has individual HVAC units which is great for guests with different temperature requirements... The downstairs main is very private and lovely. The kitchen is stocked quite appropriately for the space even without oven (has stove top and microwave) or dishwasher and has dining table for four. The shining star is absolutely the front deck which is wonderful for AM quiet time & sunset viewing enjoyment, plus shared enclosed private front porch area for privacy & bikes (if renting). The off-street parking is quite useful for smaller vehicles (Street parking pass available for larger cars). The Marigny location is quiet & perfect for walking into Quarter, access to local eateries, close to parks and bike rentals. Irelis and Dave, thank you again for sharing your wonderful home!!!!! Look forward to my next rental visit at one of your three Burgundy Suites!
