The property was clean, spacious, and in a great location, exactly what I was looking for to experience the neighborhood feel of New Orleans beyond just the touristy spots. There were plenty of food options nearby, and I felt extremely comfortable and safe throughout my stay. I also admired the work put into the house, and the friendly neighbors added to the charm. Even on Super Bowl weekend, catching a rideshare was easy.However, communication with the owner was lacking. I didn’t receive check-in details until an hour before, at which point I was informed that housekeeping was running late and the house wouldn’t be ready until 5:30 PM—two and a half hours past the agreed check-in time. I completely understand that delays happen, but when you have plans and expect things to run on time, it can start a stay off on the wrong foot. A heads-up earlier in the day would have allowed me to adjust more smoothly. Unfortunately, after sending a few follow-up questions to the owner, I never received a response.Overall, the stay matched the listing description and offered a great New Orleans experience.
