The county is currently conducting a beach renourishment project along portions of the shoreline that is expected to affect stays up until May, with possible minor extension into May due to weather delays. As crews move section by section, temporary equipment and sand pumping operations may be visible near this property. The work is temporary and helps strengthen and protect the beach and dunes, and nearby beach access is generally available around active work zones.

Chateau by the Sea, a 51-unit oceanfront complex that boasts a family-friendly atmosphere with 3-stories of 1 and 2-bedroom condos. Units offer breathtaking views of the blue, sparkling Atlantic waters and white sandy beaches. The "U" shaped complex surrounds a plush tropical courtyard, an oceanfront pool area, and a beachfront sun deck that gazes out over the sea wall. The private beach access makes it easy to get to the beach and will have you dipping your toes in the sand in no time. The pool, heated seasonally, is refreshing and allows for enough space to swim laps. There is a clubhouse available for planned seasonal activities. It features a large indoor gathering area, a full kitchen, an organized library, and restrooms. Other amenities include shuffleboard courts and outdoor gas grill.
