Cons:-Check in was rough. 2 separate addresses were provided which confused things and the host preferred to play chat tag as opposed to calling to efficiently communicate. Lock box was hard to find, attached to something other than what was described and the key was in the wrong lock box. -Lock on the outside of the door to the apt itself was very hard to lock/unlock. -toilet is very small, if you are bigger than a small child you have to sit side saddle on it due to how close to the wall it is-no cold water in the bathroom sink faucet-no shower curtain on the tub/shower (host said they’d alert maintenance, no one ever came)-by far the worst thing of all was the “air conditioner”, a free-standing unit with no vent to the outside. It blew slightly cooler than room temp air out the front and hot air out the back turning the apt into a an unbearable sauna. Outside temps were 75-85 degrees when we were there and the apartment was always much hotter than the outdoors or even the apartment building hallway. Host’s solution was to send pics of the “remote”, jokes on them there is no remote, just buttons on the front.-windows w/o screens so couldn’t even get air flowPros:-excellent location near lots of shops, restaurants, parks, museums, and close to public transport-parked for free on the street (allowed on weekends) and the street felt relatively safe to do thisWould be a solid spot with a cramped toilet if the AC was replaced and check in process was improved
