Ottimo appartamento per trascorrere una vacanza a New York

L'appartamento molto carino, completo e pulito. A pochi metri dalla metropolitana 2/3 e a 10 minuti dalla C. Tutto ciò che serve è a pochi passi... supermercato, farmacia e vari locali per mangiare. Zona silenziosa e il palazzo molto tranquillo. Tutti i contatti con il proprietario sono stati veloci e perfetti... se potessi ci tornerei domani.

The room itself is fine, but the towels are dirty and the dishes were not clean it looked as if they were just rinshed out and put away. When we arrived the apartment was freezing and no real directions on turning on the heat. The bed was made but the sheets were not washed, a lot of dirt was in the covers. The apartment was #3 and if you dont mind stairs it was a decent place to stay. The cleanliness could be improved tho.

Everything is as described, host always available and communicative. Stayed 8 nights, not a problem at all, kitchen is little but works perfectly. A great choice to save a little since every other place is expensive. Subway was super close and 1 train takes you to main station (Times Square).

We stayed in this one-room apartment for five nights with four adults. We were able to fit our luggage, which we couldn't have done with more (three large suitcases, two carry-on suitcases, and three backpacks). Communication with our host was excellent, and he helped us promptly with any issues we had! The information about the apartment (how to get there, the codes, etc.) was very well explained. We were able to cook a quick snack in the basic equipped kitchen and self-cater. There is no oven but a microwave. The location was good, and we were quickly in downtown. There were a few grocery stores nearby. It was also quiet enough to sleep at night. The subway is just around the corner. We recommend to have hooks in the bathroom for the towels and a wash cloth and another tea towel in the kitchen.It was very convenient that there was a hairdryer, some rolls of toilet paper and washing up liquid. The sofa was a bit worn out to sleep on, but it was ok.

Be Careful!

Someone came into our room while we were sleeping at a few minutes before 2am. When the owner was notified he said it was one of his employees who didn't know the room was occupied and wanted to put supplies in it. He offered to change the door code but couldn't change it until two days later. The room does not have a lock on the inside that you can lock to keep people from coming in. Anyone with the code can enter the room at anytime. The owner wanted to come do work in the room while we were there. I let him know that my children were still sleeping and asked that he come later. He became upset by that. He called me nasty and said it was "strange" that I didn't want work being done in a room while my children were sleeping. The owner said the issues were my own misunderstanding of our texting conversation. I acknowledged that some misunderstandings happen in text but there was no misunderstanding about our room being entered by his staff at 2am. There was no misunderstanding that my children were sleeping and it wasn't an appropriate time to do repairs.He told me that we could check out early since we were unhappy but did not offer a refund. We had no choice but to stay because we couldn't afford to pay for another VRBO or hotel.

The host was very communicative. It was easy to book and to get confirmations about the stay. The neighborhood is what i would call transitional. Always felt safe. The first day the shower handle broke off. The host was very responsive and called a plummer right away but it was unable to be fixed during our stay. Lastly, i wouldn't recommend if you had an expectation of using the kitchen for cooking.

Only there at night

Hello,We stayed here to have a place to sleep and eat breakfast in between days of exploring New York and seeing Broadway shows. This was a clean place with basic provisions. The neighborhood was vastly different based on the time of day. In the morning on the way to the subway (a block and a half away!) the neighborhood felt stable and safe. This was very different at 10:00 p.m. when we returned from our show on Broadway. The place it self felt safe after you got inside, and was a comfortable place to relax and recharge for the next day's adventure.

Great location

Close to Subway and grocery stores. Cute studio apartment. TV didn't work but we were okay with that. We do wish there was hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. Will stay again!

Beware!!

I prefer to not leave a review than leave a bad one, but this will come to no surprise to the management. We received access instructions by e-mail 2 days before our expected check-in. After a long day of travel, we arrived around 8pm. Beds were made, but the place did look or feel clean. Upon returning from dinner realized there were used towels in the bathroom and food in the fridge. We used our own towels. When I messaged management, I received an e-mail to contact them "urgently". They sent us e-mail instructions to the WRONG UNIT! So we packed up and moved to the right unit close to midnight, but we were startled to think that we still had the door code for the unit above us. There is no deadbolt to lock the door from the inside, so the only locking mechanism is the coded door lock that can be easily and mistakenly shared with random people.It left us feeling very insecure about leaving belongings there. We asked to cancel the reservation for the remaining nights and were told we could not and would receive 50 for our troubles which we still have not seen. Horrible management and the state of the unit shows it too. Stained sheets and dishes. The ONLY redeeming feature of this place is its proximity to subway. Avoid!!!

Very pleasant

The suite was very clean. Although the heater broke on one of the days of our stay it was fixed rapidly. Very close to the subway and deli and restaurants etc.

Great Experience!

I had the pleasure of staying at this property for a week. I had a great experience. The owner was very attentive whenever I needed to communicate. In fact, I had an issue with the television due to a previous tenant (I'm not the most technically savvy) and the owner gave me step-by-step instructions for resolving the issue. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Alles hat gut geklappt vom Check-in bis zum Auschecken, großes 1-Raum-Appartement, gutes Bett, sehr sauber, ruhige Wohngegend, optimale Verkehrsanbindung an Bus und Metro in 2 min Gehweg-Entfernung, Lebensmittelversorgung ebenfalls schnell zu Fuß erreichbar, bei der Kucheneinrichtung hätten wir uns Pfanne, Schneidbrett, Dosenöffner und Toaster gewünscht, sonst alles vorhanden Schneidbrett und Dosenöffner gewünscht

Vacation

Excellent spot for a family looking for a continent and cheap place to visit New York. Excellent access to the public transit system and easy communication with the property manager. The property was extreamly cleanly and very safe with multiple forms of security. Slightly different from online listing, only 1 room with a pullout couch and queen bed but still lots of space with the dining room, tv and kitchen area.

Emplacement parfait, studio adapté pour 4

Le grand studio est parfait pour une famille de quatre. Très bien placé à deux pas du métro dans un quartier peu fréquenté par les touristes, ce qui donne un air d'authentique au séjour. Relativement peu bruyant compte-tenu que nous sommes dans la "ville qui ne dort jamais". Très bonnes interactions avec les propriétaires, qui ont réagit rapidement à des petits soucis avant notre arrivée. Pas parfait pour le ménage (poussière et guides touristiques collants) et il manque quelques ustensiles dans la cuisine (ouvre boite, égouttoir).

Nice unique unit, much more SF than typical NYC hotel rooms offer; kitchenette has microwave, range top, good size refrigerator, and dishware for four. Room was very comfortable. Close proximity to the 2/3 train and three blocks from B/C. The neighborhood is diverse and safe.

Quick access to subway

This room provided basic essentials for my family to visit NYC. There is a small kitchenette with stove burners, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and a few kitchen utensils. There is a bathroom, a kitchen table, one bed, and one pull-out futon. The side street location was quieter than the main streets located just a minute or two away. We sensed that the neighborhood was somewhat safe overall, though we remained vigilant. We loved the Exquisite Deli at the end of the street that had great food, and there is a grocery store just one block away. The host provided good communication. The best aspect of the room was its quick access to a main subway line and bus route that quickly takes you to Manhattan.
