“Excellent house full of everything you could want from a holiday home. Superb location, minutes from the main street. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to be back soon.”

“A good place to have as a base to explore the area. Comfortable especially the double bed, and had everything you may need. It's not luxurious but very practical, good for the dog as long as they can get upstairs.The only down side is the proximity to the road although that was only busy at peak times. Very kind of the local pub to allow parking.It served us well while visiting family in Walls end.”

“Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. ”

“Prior to check-in, Sarah was very responsive. The cottage itself was immaculate and so cute. It was a great location for us to stay. Upon checkout, Sarah answered all of our questions nearly immediately regarding what to do with the linens and rubbish. Hoping to stay here again, if our travels bring us in this direction.”

“The cottage is ideally located and the off street parking is a bonus. The property is well laid out and spacious with everything you could need for a relaxing break. We would not hesitate to return. Only a couple of suggestions to make the stay even better. There was a faint smell of drains in the bathroom which built up if the door was closed. The wooden frame round the bed had corners which could catch your legs when walking round it due to the close proximity of the wardrobe. More room...

“Great apartment right in the town centre. Spacious living space and everything you need for a home from home experience. As the flat is high up you get great views out towards the castle and the roof windows give great views of the stars on a clear night.”
