“Cottage is well equipped and hosts left us welcome items such as fresh bread and milk on arrival . Good facilities in the kitchen and bathroom and good heating ! Everything was very clean. The main bedroom is very spacious - almost like a sitting room in itself . Village pubs good for food and village shop nearby for essentials . “Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. ”

“This apartment is tucked away on a nice quiet street, with a friendly pub half a street down. The level of cleanliness in the property was some of the best I have seen; you can clearly see that the owner cares about her business and customers! We had a lovely stay and got lots of activities done, from a boat tour in seahouses (40min drive) to see seals and dolphins, to an audio tour of warkworth castle (10min drive) and many other things along the way. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!...

“Perfectly placed, rented a few places around the area this one is the best one yet, the only thing we found was a whiff in the bathroom due to the soil pipe vent been in the bathroom, no idea why?. Still this hasn’t put us off, already booked for October.”
