Hotel a Newport

“Do not believe the good reviews. This hotel is filthy! The cleanest area is the front desk. Dirty sheets, roaches, moldy, broke down ice machine with parts falling off, floors are disgusting & all the carpeting hadn't been vacuumed for a while! Electric outlets without covers, air conditioner hardly worked in our room, no air conditioning running in the building on July 3rd 2026! Grounds are littered with trash, glass, beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere! Breakfast isn't edible! There...

“The room was very humid despite all of our attempts to dry it out. There is no fan in the bathroom for humidity. The moisture made all metals corrode and it was just uncomfortable. Not good for asthmatics.”

“Room was clean, nothing extravagant but okay for a night. We weren’t able to bring our luggage in as there were told there were no rooms available on the bottom floor and no elevators. Makes it difficult on people who are handicapped. The man at the desk didn’t seem to care.”

“Our room was very bad - mold in showers, bad smells, extremely dirty bathrooms, doors falling off hinges, dirt and grime everywhere. Do not recommend this property.”

“My only complaint is that I booked a standard queen room and the description says it sleeps 3. It doesn’t. There is one queen bed and a small loveseat type sofa. It does not make into a bed. I had to pay extra to get a rollaway bed once we arrived. I booked a room that says sleeps 3 and was penalized for the hotels misleading room description.”

“This hotel took me by surprise! For the price I didn't know what to expect because it was definitely on the lower cost end. The rooms were very spacious with a nice deck that overlooked the river. It was clean with a very nice bathroom and powder area. Breakfast was great. The pool was perfect. I highly highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay again.”

“The location is great!! The pool is nice, but our room you could tell at one point had been updated but the updates were falling apart. Wall trim was falling off and etc. Shower was cold and low pressure.. the elevator needed updated. But it was clean, easy to stay one night. And WiFi was good.”
