Hotel a Ngutunui

“No kitchen and coffee space was alittle tight and in the pictures upstairs room showed a double bed but when we arrived it was 2 singles which was disappointing my husband. Staff was very friendlt but we caught tail end of welcome and didnt get the whole welcome speech which was sad as we were alittle lost with some things but over all it was a bed to stay ”

“Quaint cottage style rooms that looks like it’s from the 60s or 70s. Rooms come with a kitchenette, cutlery, plates, and fridge. Bathroom shower is literally just a walled off portion of the room without a door or even shower curtains. No towel rack next to the shower so I draped my towel over the back of chair I dragged into the bathroom. No power outlets next to the bed, one of the bedside night light quartz bulbs was burnt out. Large Samsung SMART TV was a saving grace. Wi-Fi was adequate but...

“Room was clean and facilities provided good. Good value for the price we paid. The staff team and owner were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Need a car to get to the caves, but these were then quite accessible. Generally all good, and would stay again.”

“The staff is excellent. He told me a few local attractions that are really nice. I mistakenly double booked for the last day, and the manager help canceled it even though it’s supposed non refundable. I wish Expedia have picked up such a simple error when I made the booking.”

“We got the ship room, with balcony - quirky but very dated. The lower part of the boat is quite humid - at night you must close all windows unless you want milllion bugs in your room, so no way to sit outside and enjoy the stars but during the day the views are so pretty. Overall, fun for the kids , clean and ok for 1 night, expensive though ”

“ Very upset to find out there is no proper wash basin in the bathroom with no mirror available. Tiny hand basin to wash face. This is disappointing not to have basic requirements on a motel room. Long delay in getting hot water. ”

“This was such a clean and well looked after accommodation. Check in was a breeze, the cleanliness was great and to top it off, I got to pat a fluffy cat. My son was thoroughly impressed with having his own tv. ”

“The room was nothing like the photos, there were large stains on the floor. It wasn’t the cleanest. On the photos the carpet was newer and there was an aircon on the wall which seems to have been placed there for the photos. No smoke alarm and the tv had no channels. ”
