It was very busy -the day before the 2024 eclipse when it seemed like everyone had come to Niagara. The hotel had no problem handling it; the large number of staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly, and we interacted with a lot of them. The facilities are not new but are well-maintained and have been updated over the years. The garden is lovely, the pool clean and pleasant. I didn’t work out at the gym but I explored it after dinner and it’s extensive, a very large full service gym with a large weight room, yoga, and a lot of squash and tennis. Perhaps check in advance to see how to book a court. It was a wonderful stay. Our usual hotel in this area is near the Falls but we’ll be mixing that up with visits here from now on. My daughter said it was the best hotel she’s stayed at and a “real resort.” There was a festive air as staff and guests were excited about the eclipse. The hotel did not do late checkout (they were far too busy) but let everyone stay on the premises if they had checked out that day and stored their luggage so they could watch the eclipse in the pretty garden. I thought that was kind.
