“We had a delightful stay at the Reynolds mansion. It is a gorgeous historic home with beautiful woodwork and elegant touches throughout. We stayed in the colonel's green room, an excellent choice. The staff was outstanding- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and available. The food was delicious, with homemade snacks and happy hour treats as well as a hearty breakfast. It was a reasonable drive to our State College event as well- why stay in a boring expensive hotel?”

“Initial room we checked into wasn’t made up. Staff was very helpful though. Breakfast didn’t have working coffee. Second room was very clean and comfortable though.”

“The room was good it was only the halls and lobby that were a bit old looking. Odd layout but we had a good stay and the rooms were much nicer then the outside hallways.”

“This is one of those limited staff hotels. The kind where there is no one at the front desk. You can call or text someone. But the lobby is empty. There is no one to help with luggage. There is no elevator. I walked my own luggage up 3 flights. At checkin there was someone who showed us to the room. I suppose I could have asked her to grab my luggage but at that point it seemed easier to deal with it myself. After that I never saw them again. There is no parking. It's even difficult to stop...

“Fast check in. Close to Penn State. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was OK, shower a little outdated. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, muffins, yogurts, I didn't see eggs or bacon but I wasn't really looking either. ”
