Hotel vicino a Nkwe Pleasure Resort - Johannesburg

“We arrived and our room had a plumbing problem but they offered us 2 rooms. With young daughters i dis not love being seperated from them but my girls loved the space for the night and it felt save. Safety being my main concern as a foreign traveller. The rooms were a little older and the air conditioning did not work in one room. Breakfast was lovely and so was the owner and staff. Wifi was solid which is not always the case in SA so we appreciated that. A really good choice for a night or 2”

“Location , facilities etc all great communication with host not so much and it created uncertainty about the check in times and process as I had no access to any information despite calls and messages - my flight arrived late and was not sure what time check in times were available. As a woman traveling alone at night in South Africa this is not acceptable ”

“The room was not clean. After telling the front desk thr came to the toilet. But after being in the room saw how the sheets were not clean bins not emptyed dust everywhere. Restaurant service was terrible. The food i ordered was raw. Even after waiting 1 hour for the food. Overall very disappointing. I have stayed at the town lodge many times but this time was terrible ”
