Enjoy Noko Life at this cozy vacation rental duplex. Located just a short walk or bike ride (.4 mile) to beautiful Nokomis beaches, Pop’s and Pelican Tiki bars, surf shops and more. Excellent shopping and dining near historic downtown Venice. Bicycles, beach chairs and tent, tandem kayak available. Relax and unwind for a magnificent sunset while listening to the drum circle.

Easy to find and plenty of space for a family. Plenty of space to park. Van lives next door and is an easy guy to talk to, offering good local knowledge. The beach is just a couple blocks away as are all stores/ restaurants. Main road 41 a short drive to go any where. We'll be back.Thanks Van

The house was spacious and perfect for our weekend stay. It was a quick walk to the beach and around the corner from a great ice cream shop. Beds were comfortable and the porches in front and back provided nice quiet places to relax. The home is the perfect beachy old Florida charm we hoped for. Van was also a very friendly and helpful host. Would absolutely stay here again!

Van lives next door and is very accommodating to get you in asap. He helped us check in early given our small children, made sure we had enough clean towels, and the unit was spotless. Small walk to the beach and food. For something just to know, the porch is a shared common area.

What attracted me to listing for 9 week rental: Near ocean, easy to walk dogs in area, fenced in yard, hot tub. Things I discovered upon moving in: No hot tub, no fenced in yard. Poor internet quality – internet box in other unit and shared with this unit. Walking my dog first day surrounded by 2 dogs off leash in front of my house with owners standing in their yard watching, In addition, multiple other large dogs walking through yard off leash. Parked car right next to steps to ensure no incidents. Owner/host lives in other side of duplex. No vacuum in unit - he gave me his. Bought mop to do floors. Owner was uncommunicative and refused to take responsibility for issues with VRBO and Comcast. Internet took 4 calls and 19 days to resolve. Owner blamed VRBO for listing. Modular sofa kept coming apart in sections – would not stay hooked together. I put hair ties around legs to hold together. Always kept sofa covered with my own blankets. Oven dirty/top units of stove very dirty – all smoking. Back screen slider partially ripped and covered with duct tape. Coffee maker indicator kept saying to clean it. Food left in cabinet and freezer. Front window came off track Things I did for unit and before leaving. Rolled up owner’s rug and got cheap one for dog. Cleaned oven- replaced stovetop drip pans - provided by owner after notification. Washed curtains, bedding, throw rugs, Made beds. Left 1 towel, 1 sheet, 2 placemats on floor to be cleaned.

This was the perfect place for us to stay because the location was great and everything was clean and well stocked. We had great beach time, enjoyed local restaurants, and took in a couple of spring training games. This was a wonderful home base with lots around it to make the whole long weekend wonderful!

We only stay 2 nights, but loved it. Had everything we needed. Walking distrance to food and beach. We hope to come back next year. Van was a wonderful host and that is always a blessing!

We had a wonderful stay in this bungalow! It is right down the street from a beautiful free public beach with plenty of free parking. You could easily walk but we chose to drive to make transporting all of our beach gear easier. There are also restaurants, an ice cream shop and a convince store very close by. The bungalow had everything we needed and we had plenty of space. Van was wonderful and very accommodating. He had everything you would need for the a great beach vacation!
