Return trip to the island

Love this property. It was my 3rd time staying here. The rooms are spacious. There is always chairs available at the pool. The lady that helped us book a UTV excursion gave us tips about where to eat dinner for a locals experience that was wonderful. The rooms are cleaned daily. The Palm is a great place to stay if you want a stress free vacation.

Host is a scammer

Arrived and property (timeshare) told us that the host has been over booking their property. They told us they emailed and call him months prior to ask him to stop. Host was unresponsive to calls, emails and texts from myself, the property and VRBO. My family including an infant were left stranded with no place to stay on a Friday night during a weather event "flooding". Not until almost a week later did the Host offer a refund and then attempted to claim we had "partially" checked in. Host information has been turned over to police and lawyers for criminal prosecution in the United States for Federal Wire Fraud Charges and Criminal Embezzlement. To make matters worse VRBO support was worthless and did nothing to mitigate the issues or damages.

More than expected

We stayed for 2 days as an in between accommodations before going to a different hotel. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay again in the future. Rooms were very spacious and clean.

Wonderful place

The apartment was really spacious and well equipped. Staff on site were welcoming and friendly, pools were brilliant and the added bonus of loungers on Palm beach was good. Overall I would highly recommend.

The perfect stay!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Our condo was so roomy and it was cleaned daily. The pools and hot tubs are well maintained and the food at the pool restaurant was delicious and so affordable. They do offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool bar offered happy hour every day and the staff was was friendly. It was 2-3 minute ride to the beach. We did rent a car but if you don’t they do offer a shuttle daily and provide you with towels and beach chairs located by the holiday inn. We will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful place

I requested a 1st floor unit because my 92 year old mother doesn't do well with steps. I was given a 1st floor corner unit facing the poor area. We could access the unit from the patio and never had to go into the building hallway. Had 2 bars and a restaurant. Good service, good drinks and good food. We had a two bedroom unit and each bedroom had its own bath and the bedrooms were separated by a kitchen and living room. It worked perfectly.

Geweldig verblijf

Het appartement was heel erg groot en in alle ruimtes is er airco. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en er worden iedere dag nieuwe handdoeken verschoond. Alles wordt iedere dag gepoetst en prullenbakken geleegd enz. De zwembaden zijn geweldig. Gezellige muziek en ambiance bij het zwembad aan de bar, en volledige rust bij het andere zwembad. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Beveiligd complex. Heerlijke bubbelbaden. Ik kan het iedereen aanraden!!

Nice facility, friendly staff and very good on site Restaraunt.

We enjoyed our stay. The resort is excellent for the price. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Faculty was clean and rooms daily visited by housekeeping. We enjoyed the restaurant very much. Food was excellent, personnel wait staff friendly and the prices were very well. We are considering a return trip.

HORRIBLE RECURRING CONDENSATION IN UNIT

The initial steps were great. The unit had a history of horrible condensation with severely wet standing water. We were accused by staff of doing something to cause of which we absolutely did not do. We came on Wednesday and had housekeeping in room several times a day and had large beach towels on floor so we wouldn’t slip. We were not offered to move till Sunday. We had to deal with wet floors and walls which made our clothes damp to wet from Wednesday till Sunday evening. I feel like we should be refunded for a portion of our stay. I have pics of the unit all wet and covered in towels that housekeeping put down after third mop of day on Sunday. Otherwise the place is very nice. This unit should not be rented until air unit is fixed. It put a huge damper on our vacation. I think we deserve a partial refund for our trouble.

Know before you go

I'm leaving this feedback to prevent others from the big disappointment we experienced with this booking. The rating measures now much the product/service met expectations. In our case the main reason of traveling to Aruba was to get as close to the beach as possible. The other amenities were not relevant as we have better amenities in our home in NY. The booking showed 0.1 mi to the beach, which is great. We grabbed opportunity to get to the sun and sand. We felt cheated and disappointed when the sobering reality showed we are 30 min walk from the nearest beach. (actually walked, not estimate) Otherwise the place is a nice place , like 3-4 star hotel. One bedroom the windows can't be opened, in the other can't be closed. And there is $38/day fee to the management not included in booking price you see online. Know before you go.
