“I had a fully paid reservation, and at check-in I was asked to provide a credit card for the security deposit, which is perfectly understandable.
However, even though I had four different credit cards, from four different networks, none of them worked with the hotel’s POS terminal.
The issue was clearly not with my cards, but with the hotel’s payment system.
It was 7:00 PM, I was traveling with my three-year-old child, and despite the obvious situation, the staff refused to let me check in.

“Eccellente hotel, nessun problema riscontrato. Personale molto cordiale. Forse un po’ lontano se si vuole gravitare su Boston (circa 50 minuti di auto) ma nella cittadina ci sono tanti posti dove cenare e trascorrere la serata.”

“Checking in was a long process wait. The room was clean. At midnight the smoke detector battery went and kept me and my elderly mom up. The front desk man pulled it out of the ceiling. I went to put on the heat and it smelled of smoke, My mom and I decided it would not be safe for us to stay in the room without a working smoke detector. Outside my window was a pack of cigarettes and a plant. Anyone could of started a fire and without a working smoke detector could be very bad.”

“Stayed a full week: Staff was inattentive, and most could not speak English. Desk and housekeeping buttons on phone keypad did not work, so always had to walk downstairs. Housekeeping once removed all dirty towels and forgot to leave any clean ones (returned late at night to find zero towels). Never replaced any soap or shampoo (always had to go ask for it). Reading light was out and reported it on the first day, second day, third day...but never got fixed. Coffee maker in room still had an old...

“In reception non informano del fatto che una tassa addizionale, chiamata destination fee, verrà aggiunta alla fine: lo si scopre solo se si spulcia nella custodia che mi hanno dato al check in. Inoltre 40 dollari a notte per il parcheggio sono tanti.
La risposta dell'hotel è stata che, per essere competitivi com gli altri hotel hanno ridotto il prezzo del pernottamento e spostato il costo in un voce nascosta.”

“I stayed at this Marriott for 12 days. On the mirror in the bathroom it states “Every other day refresh, every 7 days full service”. Once someone came in to empty trash and clean towels, that was my sixth day at the hotel. I asked if he was going to clean my room, he referred me to the housekeeping manager. When I saw the housekeeping manager and explained my situation I quote” I don’t know I didn’t work yesterday “. Really this is the response from a manager? The proper answer would be to a...

“My complaint is that I had called 2 weeks ahead of our arrival date to request that we have our 2 rooms adjoined because we had a group of kids for a birthday trip. I was told that was no problem. When we checked in, our rooms were on different floors! Not even close to eachother! When I explained I was supposed to have adjoining rooms, we were told that they can't guarantee that. Kinda put a damper on our birthday trip and I most likely would have booked elsewhere had I been told from the...
