Great house for a larger family our size - plenty of room and parking. Large updated kitchen and bathrooms. The bedrooms all had AC and perfect size and described accurately in the descriptions. Location is close to downtown, MOCA attractions and a Big Y super market. Carl made the check in process easy and responded to all my messages super quick. Would recommend!

A great house and very close proximity to Mass Moca. Clean, comfortable, and the hot tub was a bonus. The microwave was not working but the host had great communication. Easy check in and check out. Would stay again!

This house was perfect for our 12 person college reunion. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. There was enough space for everyone to comfortably sit and hang out. The host was very communicative and checked in before, during and after the stay. Highly recommend this property.

We used the house as a base of operations for a destination birthday party. It worked perfectly.All 6 bedrooms were clean and bright. Kitchen was well equipped. Ambience great.

Lovely house! Very comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. Easy walk to Mass MoCA, coffee, grocery, and restaurants. Great communication with host as well!

Cozy Girls Weekend

We had a great girls weekend e joying local trails, MassMOCA, local restaurants and this very clean, spacious house! Location is walkable to the museum and down town and we enjoyed a soak in the tub after a day of hiking in local conservation areas!

This property was built in the days that made things last !! We all remarked on the banister on the front stairs!! Amazing! The location was great,, just a short ride to williamstown and just a few minutes to MassMOCA! The bedrooms were very nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Host was very friendly and helpful . He quickly got back to us when we had a question!

Great space for a big group!

We stayed here as a group of six during an artist residency at Mass MoCA. The rooms were very comfortable and there was plenty of space to cook and relax outside of our working hours. The property manager was extremely responsive with any needs we had. We would recommend this space for any large group taking a trip to North Adams!

We enjoyed a great few days' family reunion in North Adams and MOCA, hosted by Carl at his house. The number of spacious bedrooms truly was perfect for vacationing with our four young adults and two parents. The kids enjoyed the hot tub (Carl provided clear instructions which made it so easy), and all of us socialized while cooking in the roomy, well-stocked kitchen. Carl provided many nice touches we made use of, such as the hair dryer, ample dishware and utensils, even coffee pods for the K-cup and filters for the traditional coffee maker. Most of all, it was reassuring to hear back quickly from Carl for questions we had last minute. He was clear, courteous and helpful, a great host all-around! The house is so interestingly decorated, with creative artistic style just as the photos indicate. The only rating I put as a 4/5 instead of 5/5 would be that the home's lighting in real life, and immediate home surroundings, are less cheery than in the photos. If brightness is unimportant to your group, you will not notice a thing! Mass MOCA truly is a quick walk down the hill, and if your group is ambulatory you'll enjoy the stroll as we did. Also in town - a terrific bookstore and cafe, and the Big Y (large grocery). Nearby - hiking/walks. Of course, the big highlight of our trip was the museum itself, which was a showstopper. Its many buildings are themselves works of art and history, and countless exhibits we saw were both super fun and meaningful. Thank you, Carl!

Art House is well located for access to Mass Moca, North Adams and, for 6 of us, cycling in the area. The owner/manager is very communicative and responsive. It is up a very short and very steep street on level property. As described, it has 6 ample bedrooms with comfortable beds. It is very clean. The bedding and towels were of good quality. The very warm comforters were too heavy for summer use and we found no lighter blankets. There were minor problems with an absent door knob, soap, kitchen sponge. The kitchen is very functional in spite of a large microwave sitting on the kitchen island to substitute for the non-functioning microwave above the stove. The exterior of the house is not tidy and clearly the house has seen better days. The bathrooms are functional and not modern or 5*. The floorboards creak and the interior is overdue for a full renovation. There is ample space in the dining room and living rooms for lounging and relaxing. One of the sofas had ripped cushions and all the furniture was well used. The rear stairway is very steep. The neighborhood was quiet. The largest bedroom had a noisy air conditioner that was welcome. We asked for an early check in which was possible. However, the service that manages the electronic locks had not authorized our access code early so we had to wait about 10 minutes for their authorization. I did not see any other similar property in or very near to North Adams with ample space for a large group.

Perfect N Adams spot for us

We had a wedding at Mass MoCA and several related events nearby. The location was ideal and the house accommodates a very good sized group (granddad, two sons, 5 yo dtr and visit from another adult) w/6 functional bedrooms and 2 baths. Some stairs. Comm w owner was flawless and responsive. Short walk to grocery, drug store Subway and Main St. Medium walk to MoCA but virtually flat save a short hill right at the house. Recommend

Great house

House was great for us. Super minor but there was no laundry detergent (we have an infant so we're planning on doing laundry), and the listing included a fireplace but the house notes say it can't be used. We were a large group and didn't expect a small fridge. The house is old and could use some updates, but it is charming and super convenient for our needs and I would boo again!
