“Abbiamo soggiornato in questo stupendo lodge per tre notti e ne siamo rimasti veramente entusiasti. La struttura, situata appena fuori l'abitato di newquay, si trova a picco sull'oceano e sia le camere (consigliamo ovviamente di prenotare quelle vista mare) che il ristorante offrono un panorama mozzafiato con la possibilità di godersi dei fantastici tramonti (meteo permettendo). “Bellissimo cottage inglese immerso nella campagna circostante e distante dalla città più vicina. La camera era accogliente, spaziosa e con un bagno davvero grande. Letto molto comodo e pavimenti con una spessa moquette. Colazione abbondante con varietà salate e dolci. Ottima soluzione”

“We were in town mainly to visit nearby Port Isaac (because we loved the Doc Martin series). If you don't mind the steep hill, you can walk from one town to the other in about 15 minutes, and the Port Gaverne hotel was relatively affordable. We had a good dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and the staff was friendly. The only thing we'd mention is that we were on the top floor, which had nice views but is up an extremely narrow and steep staircase. So if you couldn't make that climb, be sure...

“We ended up here by accident after being double booked at another (unrelated) hotel. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after that we quickly forgot about the ordeal from the night before ! The room was gorgeous with stunning views. The hotel and spa were clean, staff were friendly, the food was excellent. We are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem and can’t wait to return! ”

“The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill.
