“Definitely worth a visit. We only stayed for one night but we will be back. Staff all unbelievably good. Food exceptional. Very quiet. Really good nights sleep. Highly recommend this hotel. We also did the free history tour of the castle. Do not miss this as it includes a visit to the roof to take in the views.”

“Dieser Ort hat fernab vom Rummel der Stadt einen ganz eigenen Zauber und lässt einen sofort entspannen. Die Besitzerin ist einfach zauberhaft und sehr bemüht, ihre Gäste in Komfort zu bringen. Sie ist eine sehr freundliche Person und ist ganz offensichtlich die gute Seele des Hauses, die mit viel liebe zum Detail die Zimmer, das Haus und den Garten liebevoll gestaltet. ”

“If you are thinking about staying at The Hunting Tower to enjoy the area, view and to visit Chatsworth House with unlimited access then this is for you. We absolutely loved our stay, such a unique building and well taken care of, considering it's age, it was all extremely comfortable. It was easy to collect the key as instructed but on arriving at Chatsworth the lady in the kiosk was not aware of what we should do next or to be able to navigate us to the property which was a little odd, so...

“As a 3 generation family group we all loved this place to stay. Fabulous location: amazing views of countryside, but close enough to the coast. Accommodation was comfortable (beds amazingly so), lots of games and activities for children, and of course the pool and hot tub which were very well used. Our hosts Mark and Georgina were very helpful and accommodating, and communicated really well. Highly recommended. Simon and family.”

The setting really brought everyone together with space for everyone to be involved. A packed agenda during the day, relaxing together cooking regional dishes in the evening, then games in the cellar in the later evening. “We booked the Manor & Rose Cottage alongside the yurt and Bonfire Making/ Axe Throwing for the a hen party of 26. We had the most amazing weekend, the Manor is amazing, so many hidden rooms and staircases, and it’s all absolutely beautiful! We hosted a murder mystery 1 evening which the dining room was perfect for. Rose cottage was absolutely stunning and right next door to the manor. The yurt is an absolute MUST. It’s absolutely huge, it’s got furniture, a log burner and it’s own kitchen!...

“I booked this for my 40th birthday and Post-wedding celebration, and the entire experience was a fairytale. The views of the Jurassic coast that the castle sits upon are breathtaking. The castle itself is a perfect size, just enough to get a little lost in. The management team (Tessa and Hannah) are great. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.”
