“An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”

“Our stay at Meadow Oak has been a pleasant one. The house is big and our room was on the top floor. Nice view from the two roof windows and comfortable room equipped with wide screen TV and video-player.In our room a bath equipped for a spa bath. Breakfast is nothing noteworthy as just milk and cereals are offered, plus room in the fridge and the use of the kitchen for cooking anything one would eat (bring your food). “The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill.
