Cottage "On Burgum Pond" - Serenità nella natura

The Cottage è una casa indipendente 1 camera da letto 1 bagno costruita appositamente. È immerso tra gli alberi in un giardino su una proprietà di 1,5 acri. Questa casa è l'ideale per un soggiorno tranquillo, lontano dal trambusto della vita moderna. Rilassati sul grande ponte e immergiti nei suoni della natura. È facile 20 minuti a piedi (o 2 minuti in auto) in Maleny.

La casa offre uno spazio di vita moderno, pulito e tranquillo in un giardino. La porta d'ingresso si apre nella zona cucina-sala da pranzo open space. La cucina ha nuovi elettrodomestici di fascia alta, tra cui un frigorifero, forno a microonde, lavastoviglie e macchina per il caffè. C'è ampio armadio e ripiani e la cucina è rifinita con piani di legno.

Per la prima mattina viene fornito un piccolo cestino per la colazione gratuito, che può includere frutta di stagione, pane, cornetti, condimenti, muesli, yogurt, latte, succo d'arancia, tè, caffè (cialde e caffè) e uova.

Free Telstra ADSL WiFi è disponibile e un televisore con DTV, Netflix e Stan è nella zona lounge. C'è un secondo televisore nella camera da letto principale.

Una nuova stufa a legna è stata installata nella zona giorno e sono forniti legna, legna e accenditori. C'è un condizionatore d'aria a ciclo inverso nella camera da letto, in grado di raffreddare e riscaldare l'intera casa

La parete laterale della zona giorno è composta da due porte francesi che si aprono sul grande ponte offrendo una vista panoramica sul giardino e sulla valle circostante e sugli alberi. Un grande ventilatore da soffitto ti assicura di rimanere fresco indipendentemente dal tempo. C'è un tavolo a quattro posti e un barbecue è disponibile.

C'è la possibilità di un divano letto nel salotto. Tutta la biancheria sarà fornita.

La camera da letto si affaccia sull'albero di Jacaranda splendente, sui giardini e sugli alberi di Macadamia attraverso porte finestre. Ha un ventilatore a soffitto telecomandato e un letto matrimoniale con tutta la biancheria è fornita. Il bagno privato è accessibile attraverso la porta della stalla e ha una toilette separata, grande doccia a pioggia, grande vanità, vasca da bagno e scalda asciugamani. Asciugamani e servizi sono forniti.

Gli ospiti hanno il loro accesso privato alla casa attraverso il posto auto coperto oltre la casa principale. Il vialetto ha luci per l'accesso notturno. Il porto auto Cottage è a sinistra dell'unità (circa 40 metri in basso). L'accesso alla casa avviene attraverso l'ingresso recintato (contrassegnato "Cottage") nel posto auto coperto e lungo la rampa di scale. La porta d'ingresso si trova alla fine di una breve passerella coperta a metà coperta.

Non c'è accesso allo stagno in quanto è di proprietà privata.

Everything is provided, even a well stocked breakfast basket with home-made bread. Spacious house with a large veranda and a very private area for the spa. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby and only a 5 minute drive from Maleny center. Hosts Linda and Antony are very friendly and helpful..... thank you for everything. We definitely can recommend the Possum Retreat.

We arrived to the smell (and very soon after, the taste) of freshly-baked bread. The hosts had thought of everything, and our cottage was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and warm, with robes, a spa, a modern kitchen, and both air conditioning and a fireplace. We shared the surrounds - about three minutes from Maleny township - with chickens, kookaburras and wallabies. It was an ideal place to stay for time out and a bit of luxury. We’ll be back.

Possums retreat is absolutely gorgeous! It's in a great location and close to everything you need. The fire place and the hydrotherapy spa was a massive win for us. Most importantly, the communication with the owners was exceptional. They even supplied a hamper with fresh fruit, danishes, crossiants and a freshly homemade loaf of bread which was super delicious. Amazing weekend away!! A massive thanks to the Owners Linda and Antony. We'll be back for sure.

You can tell that someone has really put some thought into the furnishings and has an eye for detail. Made for a tranquil experience. We felt very relaxed to be in such a beautiful cottage. Would definitely stay again.

Before we arrived we were giver clear and detailed information about how to find our way to our cottage. Inside we found a basket with a fresh home-made loaf of bread, butter, condiments and cakes. Fresh eggs were also supplied in the full kitchen as was milk and juice. Melany is a few minutes away by car. A folder with places to go and menues for local restaurants was also supplied. We felt well looked after. Thank you.

We stayed for 2 nights in august 2023. Such a cosy cottage and the perfect place to unwind and relax. The hosts were wonderul and very atrentive to our needs. The property istelf was immaculately presented and it was all the small extras that really made it special. The fresh bread and condiments on arrival and bath robes just were much appreciated. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Beautiful just as you see in pics. Bath to die for with a outdoor view. Fantastic private Spa Area. Very comfortable & very clean. Fabulous deck with Webber ( a breakfast Webber plate for eggs would be great) You dog is made to feel so welcome like a queen with there own treats, bowls, blanket, towel & bed…!!! Nothing is forgotten Absolutely fantastic stay. Will definitely be returning to the cottage. The owner are lovely & nothing is too much trouble. The hamper & freshly made beads yummy. Everything about this stay was just perfect - from the warm welcome by Linda and Antony, to the breakfast basket that contained (among other things) a freshly home-made loaf of bread that was still warm, to the relaxing outdoor spa, and the amazing location. We couldn’t fault our 3 days there, and we just wish we could have stayed longer!

Upon arrival the 1st thing I noticed was how beautifully presented the cottage was from the welcoming basket of local goodies to the crisp white bedding !! Instantly I was in heaven ❤️ our (2) Westie girls were welcomed with open arms ( which means everything to us ) loved our hosts … best getaway yet !!

The cottage was just perfect. Beautifully presented and very comfortable. The balcony and the view from it was wonderful and we had everything we needed. The lovely fresh produce and bread and croissants delivered *still warm* were just the icing on the cake. Unfortunately, my partner developed a severe migraine during the night and was very sick for the rest of our stay, so we weren't able to take full advantage of the lovely breakfast basket supplied. Apart from that, it was a wonderful stay, many thanks to Linda and Anthony for providing such a lovely cottage to stay in.

We enjoyed a wonderful 7 nights in this lovely cottage, tucked away in a peaceful part of North Maleny. Super clean and comfortable. Very close and convenient to amenities and sightseeing seeing. Do yourself a favour and book to stay here.
