I would not recommend staying at this property. While the check-in process was smooth, we noticed several issues as soon as we entered. The home had a strong chemical odor, and we had been told beforehand that it had recently been treated for insects.As we unpacked, we found multiple dead cockroaches throughout the house and immediately started picking them up to keep our toddler from touching them. While regrouping in the master bedroom, we saw a live centipede crawling across the floor. We then went into the kitchen to discuss our next steps, and another centipede came out from underneath the refrigerator.At that point, we no longer felt comfortable staying and decided to find accommodations elsewhere.When we informed the owner that we had left, we were told we should have contacted them before leaving so they could send maintenance and housekeeping. In our view, a clean, pest-free property is something guests should reasonably expect before arrival, especially after a full day of travel. We did not feel it was appropriate to wait in the home with our young child while those issues were addressed.Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience. Based on the condition of the property when we arrived and how the situation was handled, we cannot recommend this rental to other travelers.
