You really can't beat the location—being directly across from the beach was absolutely amazing. The kids had a blast going back and forth between the beach and the pool, and it made the whole trip feel easy and relaxed. The unit itself was incredibly spacious and easily fit our large group, which was a huge plus.That said, the space is definitely showing its age and could benefit from a few updates to really shine. The kitchen was a bit under-equipped for a group our size. There were plenty of lids but only one pan, which made cooking for 18 a challenge. The hand mixer only had one beater, and with no large mixing bowls, making 10 pounds of mashed potatoes took some improvising.Some of the interior doors wouldn’t close properly, and a few of the door handles were sticky—they felt locked even when they weren’t, which got a little frustrating at times. Also, the toilet in the half bathroom on the first level could use a repair, as the chain kept slipping off after flushing and had to be fixed manually.On the plus side, all of the beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were also well-maintained and clean, which we really appreciated. We’d recommend adding more seating in the main floor living area—maybe a sectional or extra chairs—and furnishing the game room upstairs to make it more functional and inviting.Overall, the location and size of the home are hard to beat.
