Seaside Cottage 2 the upper level unit of a cozy North Myrtle Beach duplex, located one block from the stunning Atlantic Ocean. This beautiful home has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and comfortably sleeps up to 12 people. A fully stocked kitchen, hardwood floors, beautiful furnishings, and five televisions will ensure that you have all the comforts of home. With delightful oak trees and breathtaking views from the sun deck, you will be able to truly soak in all that the Grand Strand has to offer. You can spend the day on the beach playing in the sand, watching the seagulls, and listening to the waves, and then come home to your fenced backyard with a pool, picnic tables, hammock and grills. Come to North Myrtle Beach and let Seaside Cottage be your home away from home. POOL AT THIS HOME IS OPEN FROM MID-MAY--OCTOBER. This rental unit has Roku/Internet TV service -- bring your passwords.

Short Walk to Ocean 4 Bedroom / 2 Bath Duplex

Price was reasonable and overall for the age of property it was clean and as close as you can get to the beach without being on the beach. The up keep or maintaining of the home could be better. Dishwasher was not properly secured to anything and was difficult to shut. Drains in kitchen sink and tubs were very slow to drain and was clogged at one point. Service person accused us dumping food down the drain immeaditely and a bit rude. We corrected the tub drains ourselves by cleaming the loads of hair found in both. We would use this property again but think we would prefer the ground level of the duplex next time.

Summer trip

Property management was great. Attended to our needs promptly; they followed up, overall was great. For the price, you couldn’t ask for more. Clean, met our needs, beds were comfortable, water pressure was good, water was hot; pool was nice to have with kids, you do share the pool with duplex underneath. Area of house was great. Easy walk to beach. Was able to cook with everything needed they had stocked. Fridgerator nice, clean, and big.

Much needed fall respite ...for us and our pups

We stayed here several years ago and have always checked it's availability when planning subsequent beach trips, and we got lucky this time! Neighborhood could not be more quiet, you're on the beach in 3.4 minutes, and truly nothing beats having your own pool in that lovely grassy back yard with a great view of some nice live oaks - the pups enjoyed being as lazy as we did.

Great location, needs updating and cleaning

The location of this property is excellent! Unfortunately there were a few things that could have made our stay more welcoming. There was black MOLD growing in the bathrooms. Most of the air vents were rusted and there were no exhaust fans in the unit to draw out shower steam or in the kitchen area when cooking. I probably won’t be staying here again due to the mold and rust. This property has great potential if it were managed a little more closely.

Perfect for our family!

We loved this cottage! It was very close to the beach! It is pet friendly! And the pool was wonderful! We used the grill to cook! I really was an exceptional vacation and we look forward to coming back next year!!❤️

Lived up to expectations

We had friends who stayed here before so we knew what to expect. The location is great in a nice little neighborhood with an easy walk to the beach and a few bars/shops/ice cream. The beds were comfortable and the two bathrooms centrally located. I would not call the kitchen well equipped - knives were dull and the 2 can openers didn’t work among other little details. Otherwise it served its purpose. We had a challenge at times with the TV and learned how to use from the downstairs neighbors. Instructions would be helpful. It was near the end of the season so things might have disappeared over time. The front deck is a nice place to hangout in the evening. The private pool is a great plus. There are trees overhead so leaves are a daily occurrence, but there is a skimmer and it’s fun to do when you’re in the pool. The rental company was very efficient and helpful. The linen service worked well. I would stay here again. Miss the beach!

The bedroom accommodations were nice. We had 9 that slept comfortably. The main living space was small for 9 guests. We had a short walk to the beach which was great. The house lacks closet space and needs some upgrades in the living/kitchen spaces to make it more appealing. Upon arrival, we noticed sand and unswept floors under the furniture, but very visible. Guests are asked to sweep up before leaving or be charged. However, you pay a cleaning fee for a reason. I expect quests to "tidy" up and get rid of trash before leaving, but the cleaning crew that we pay for needs to do a better job. Overall our stay was pleasant and the swimming pool is secluded by trees and a very nice place to relax.

Annual family vacation

Everything was nice, however the first few days the pool was green and being treated, would have been nice to be communicated that upon check in and had some other type of accommodation since we were not able to use the pool for 25% of the stay , would also be nice to have better communication post check out. I understand the rules about sand and how there will be added cleaning fees but no communication on the outside shower not working a couple days , we take pride in leaving it cleaner than we had it turned over to us so that confirmation would be nice plus there is money involved

The communication was really really great the manager and other staff very helpful and accommodating making sure we could find everything and I really appreciate it that the only downfall was the pest control guy came the spray while we were packing out.

Family Love our stay

Pretty good stay

This was a good place to stay for our vacation. A great location. There was some minor cleanliness problems like there was some roaches around(the house ones, not the water bugs)but besides that it was a good spot.

Lucas Family vacation

We loved the pool area, as it was large enough to accommodate both families. Us and the family in Cottage 1. We were very fortunate to have the family that we did. We enjoyed many nights together out by the pool playing games listening to music. This was a different year for us with Covid limiting our outings. The house was a perfect fit for us to hang out, cook together and spend time together. The beach was a short walk as well.
