Hotel a North Powder

“It’s a little tired. It needs some sprucing up.”

“Breakfast was very limited. Was expecting something hot - waffles, eggs, sausage etc”

“We have stayed in several hotel/motels over the decades passing through Baker City, I don't know how we ever missed this gem! It has to be the cleanest place in town with the friendliest staff. It was great being on the Leo Adler trail and a block from Main St. We will definitely be booking here from now on!!!!”

“Breakfast was meh, cold "hot" foods, undercooked oatmeal. Yeah, you read that right, how does one do that? Nice staff, quiet room.”

“Lots of noise from neighbors all hours of the night. Homeless man came into the lobby to have coffee and breakfast and no one was there watching. Cards randomly stopped working to our door. Beds were comfortable. Room smelled like cigarettes.”

“Had a nice stay overall. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed was comfy. The hotel was also very easy to find, had a very welcoming layout, and had lots of parking, I could park right in front of my room. The bad: The people/person directly above were very loud after midnight. The front desk lady and the gentleman who manages the hotel are so kind, professional, and were so friendly to my pup, who was plenty of excited and happy to see everyone! I will keep this spot in mind for our next...

“When we first arrived we entered through the back through the kitchen because the entrance to the restaurant was closed. It had a terrible smell like meat was being boiled for the next day. Luckily we were the only ones there because being an old hotel that has creaky floorboards other guests would have made a horrible racket walking around. Once we got to our room the loud AC units are through the window to the outside so there is a lot of road noise,car alarms and train noise that comes...

“Clean roof good breakfast no complaints”

“The property restoration was completed in 1998, nothing seems to have been updated since then. The bed was heavily used. No black out shades or drapes so the room was way to bright for restful sleeping. The evening dinner was at best marginal. Breakfast was good. The daily rate not really worth it so it is not on my recommended list to visit.”
