“Christmas lights on the balcony flooded the first floor room with light all night long. No blackout curtains. Rooms on first floor near front desk were noisy. ”

“The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. “I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!”

“I don’t know where to begin. The place smelled like cigarette smoke. When I tried to check in I had to ring a bell and was to come back as the front desk staff seemed to all go out to lunch. After finally checking in, the tv didn’t work, the iron is broken and spilled water everywhere when I tried to iron my clothes. The bathroom showers had mold everywhere and I was genuinely afraid to step on the carpet, barefooted or touch anything in the room. I had to put my own bedsheets and pillowcases on...
