“I had to struggle with wi-fi which it was not working above the second floor. i was initially given a 6th floor room and had to move after going up and down for a while and even have a phone call with the technicians which I interrupted after 20 minutes call after hearing everything was fine for him. Of course it was not and I spend some of my time doing things that do not compete a customer. In the second floor everything was fine.”

“Very nice room in a good setting overlooking countryside. The staff were extremely helpful with nothing too much trouble and very polite. Very clean hotel and well looked after. One issue was that the restaurant was quite expensive with a starter plus main course for 2 of us and a glass of wine costing c. £100 in total, although this did include a 12.5% service charge at the end of the bill which was discretionary and I didn’t notice until after I had paid. However, this wasn’t indicated...

“We were given the family room on the second floor instead of a double room due to double booking. I would not recommend it if you have knee problems as there is no lift. Bed is comfortable had a good quiet nights sleep with the heater turned off. It is conveniently located to the Royal and Derngate theatre. ”
