“I love historic hotels and this was a good one. Good location. Easy access to the springs, great antique shopping and plenty of food options. Get the pizza! Close to walking trail. Interesting city full of history. Easy drive to Santa Fe for afternoon. The room was a much needed elegant clean space for resting and getting a recharge after a long drive. They had a bar and free coffee and tea.”

“This is an older hotel, so expectations should be par with that. Staff friendly and helpful. A/C is not "per room" but centrally controlled and was set at 66 degrees at night (too cold for me, but they did have plenty of blankets). The "free breakfast" is not at the location, but 4 blocks away at owner's diner. The food there was very good--ate both dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was truly excellent.”
