“Older property that lacks some modern amenities such as a room safe, a TV in the separate sitting area and we had to ask for a hand towel. The breakfast was adequate but even though we arrived when breakfast started, the food was cool to warm at best. This property wasn’t up to the standard we expected of a Rydges hotel.”

“The Rivulet is located on busy Sandy Bay Road, which makes getting into and out of the property a litte tricky. It is conveniently located to the Salamanca Market, which we were able to walk to (30-40 minutes) and also to the Bruny Island boat tour pick-up location. Sandy Bay Road has lots of shops within easy walking distance (Coles and Woolworth). We especially enjoyed one of the bakery shops where we purchased meat pies and cherry tarts.
