“Loved the cabin! My only complaint was that the upstairs bed got hot during the night making my daughter uncomfortable. We put the fan up there the second night but it didn’t seem to help. She slept on the loveseat. Everything else we loved! ”

“A perfect little getaway tucked into the woods. Secluded and private, the area is beautiful. The cabin itself was so cute, just what we wanted. There was wood already ready to build a fire, the kitchen is very well stocked with cooking and cleaning supplies, there were board games, and a smart TV. When I contacted the host they answered quickly and were very gracious.”

“Great getaway to the Laurel Mountains. Spotless, clean, quiet and secluded. Easy check in, location is off grid, and away from others. There was work being done on water lines near the property which impacted water pressure. This is beyond the control of the property manager, but before you book, double check to make sure that work is finished, or make the informed decision to book in spite of the friendly notice. No complaints on our end; just wanted to mention the situation for others. Hot Tub...

“We had a wonderful stay at this Cozy Cabin in Black Bear Resort. The location was fantastic. We loved the woodsy atmosphere, peace and quiet and ability to walk around the grounds. Being so close to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley parks was ideal. The cabin is very clean, the kitchen is perfect and the bed is comfy. We were happy campers. Thank you for a great visit.”
