“Everything worked except the lighters”

“Room was dirty, Place was torn apart, Noisy, and we had rashes all over the body as soon as we slept on the bed and has vacated in less than a n hour after checking in.”

“We had a great stay. Check in was easy and the staff were all very nice. Breakfast was also really great. The hotel is also centrally located, so it’s easy to get around. The only note on the location is that you’ve gotta compete for public parking. But we went on Memorial Day weekend and were pretty much fine in locating parking. Would stay again!”

“The front desk staff billed me for onsite parking, an amenity that was clearly listed as free, and then it appeared on my bill as a pet charge. Super shady. And the place is a dump.”

“The home was very nice, even though some areas needed to be cleaned more often. We liked our room very much and it was comfortable and cozy. The location was great and near the beaches. However, we were the only guests that night and we felt the innkeeper showed little interest in us and just didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, almost like she wished she didn't have to bother with us. Breakfast, in particular, was disappointing. We didn't get the advertised "great coffee" from Saugatucck,...

“We have always loved staying at this property. It's been over 30 years. The setting is ideal.”

“This is a great resort in South Haven. Staff is really friendly and the rooms are nice. It’s about 2.5 miles to walk to the central part of South Haven for lots of restaurants and bars. I will be back!”

“There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. ”

“Had to wait 5 minutes for front desk to arrive from Waterpark for check in. Wall was leaking , blinds wouldn't go up or down with auto switch that was exposed on wall. AC did not work. I give a 1 star because after about 30 minutes at 430AM did the front desk switch us rooms so we could finally get some sleep. Since all booking is 3rd party, there was absolutely nothing to do about our room outside of switching us for 4 hours. The breakfast looked horrible as well so we didn't even eat that...
