“Rooms and furniture are old and dated. Very expensive given whats offered for a nights stay. Cleanliness can be improved. No wifi in rooms. The reception is not manned 24/7. Latest check in is 8.30pm. I will not stay again.”

“The hotel was lovely, the room was lovely, clean,comfortable and perfect size for a family room. The staff were all lovely and helpful in every way, breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.”

“Pros: recently decorated room, comfortable firm bed, clean white cotton bedding, reasonably quiet, great view of river, free and plentiful continental breakfast with cereals, muffin/croissant, toast with jam & cheese, yoghurts, pleasant and helpful staff. “We were on the 2rd floor and the steps were very narrow for walk up and down on. Found it a bit risky. But overall cheap and cheerful ”

“Nice clean room, got parked outside and was able to check-in early. Good choice of drinks, a well supported pub which is nice to see. Nice hot shower in the morning too.”

“The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part!”
