“Stayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk. Hotel is above a pub though there’s a separate entrance so coming and going was easy. Would recommend if you’re near by.”

“It was a very nice place to stay at a reasonable cost. Ideal location near to Cooling Castle were able to walk back after the wedding well with a torch. Staff were all friendly. Would recommend.”

“Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!) We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty. Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked. “Excellent stay, breakfast was lovely, also had a veggie option for full English. Bed was really comfortable I slept better there than I do at home. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meal was delicious. As previous reviews have said it is a little dated and worn in places, but it felt like the seaside b&b of yesteryear. We will definitely visit again.”

“The hotel was lovely, well furnished with a nice “vibe”,and the staff were all amazing. The location of the hotel next to a busy road and the railway wasn’t ideal but there was nothing the hotel itself could do about that. It was, however, close to everything you needed, within walking distance. They also welcomed our dogs and even supplied dog beds, bowls and treats. ”
