“Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. ”

Its not Travelodge style accommodation, but (I suspect) cheaply built and maintained block of approx 15 holiday camp type rooms in a working farm yard. "La stanza era molto pulita e confortevole, il frigo bar molto ben fornito, anche se gli ultimi due giorni non è stato ripristinato quanto avevamo consumato. La colazione molto soddisfacente, buona varietà di cibo salato con delle uova in camicia semplicemente eccezionali!! Il vero punto forte è però il personale. Nella sala colazione abbiamo avuto il piacere di conoscere Paulo, che è stato estremamente gentile e piacevole. Ore dopo il check-out, poi, abbiamo scoperto di aver lasciato nella cassaforte degli oggetti personali molto importanti: tornati in hotel, la piccola emergenza è stata gestita in modo impeccabile e con estrema gentilezza dal personale del front desk, che ha risolto il nostro problema in pochi minuti, permettendomi di recuperare quanto lasciato in stanza."
