“The property is gorgeous! The birds are abundant. In this particular location we were able to see deer in the woods in the morning and again at dusk. We had quiet a few hummingbird visits too. Nice and close to Starved Rock and the towns center. The owner was generous enough to provide water and muffins with a personal note. It was a really nice touch. On the flip side, we had to clean the hot tub and the comforter before we could use them. Both were not at their best. Also note the original...

“Clean, looks just like picture. Easy to get to. Calm quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from Kroger grocery store and main road with eateries. The Salt Tree Yoga Spa Ottawa is so close to this home, so we got our spa on, grabbed some groceries, and chilled out at a home away from home:). Bare minimum supplies but got the job done for dinner, snacks, and breakfast. Would definitely come back.”

“We enjoyed the peacefulness and seclusion of the house out in the country. It was a short drive over to Starved Rock and we even made a drive into a grocery store in LaSalle which was about 20 min away. We had a hard time getting the lock to open when getting in and with the heat but the owner was very quick to respond and resolve issues. He was kind and was understanding to our needs. Know that if you’re bringing children there’s only one bedroom with a door; the other is just partitioned off...
