“The pub (Area Hotel) across the road was very noisy. There is not much parking within the hotel, and although there is plenty of parking in surrounding areas, it’s not secure. Great central location, staff were great, room service were very helpful.”

“Room was clean but needed some maintenance and a/c was poor. Staff were friendly.”

“What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. ”

“Parking for overnight guests should have priority over drinkers and family dinners . Especially weekends . Second ...under the wall table had coffee stains splattered on the wall and the ice was nearly falling out of the freezer . Staff were ok....some unfriendly and unhelpful. One lady there delivered chips and coffee to our room 8. Thankyou very much. The price for the room was more than what it should be . ”
