“The rooms were clean. The microwave knobs were greasy. The bed was very comfortable. All of the furniture and fittings seemed to be quite old but did their job. The name of the place was not on the outside of the building, so it was confusing about which of two or three buildings it could be. The water pressure in the shower was weak, and a live cockroach appeared from under the washing machine. There was no shampoo in the shower, which was very surprising for the price. “Property was filthy. Semen stains on bedding, I went out and bought my own bedding instead. Faeces on toilet seat from previous guest. Carpark was tight. Oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, plates, utensils and dishwasher were disgusting. Aircon needed a clean, it stunk so bad. Washing machine has mould on the rubber door lip and the dryer was full of lint. Made several attempts to contact the email provided and no one bothered to respond.”

It was fixed on the third day after several calls, but the housekeeping manager did not apologize and mentioned that, being in the countryside, there aren’t many handymen available. Additionally, we were unable to use the hotel facilities since this is a privately owned villa, so the kids couldn’t access the swimming pool or kids...
