“They are trying to renovate an old Victorian house, but really do not seem to have any experience with hotels or B&B's. The room we had was painted poorly with messy paint lines at the trim and paint drips on the floor. The caulking in the shower was comically bad. The shower was quite small. We waiting several minutes for the hot water in the shower and eventually took two back to back cold showers . There was no table or dresser to put our stuff on, so we had everything on the floor. “the property is located on the hillside and has a real good , carefully designed crafted Japanese garden-like surroundings. it has wooden and stone steps , handles, very artistic. They have a stone decorated stream with mini waterfalls and koi goldfish pond. the property sauna is also working well and is a nice feature. the main building interior has a real homey atmosphere and interior of mid 1940 - 1950 s they have an independenly running very good a la carte three course lunch meal...
