  • The Blacksmiths Cottage è situato sulle rive del fiume Oude e si trova in una posizione idilliaca con vista sul campo da tennis e sulle scuderie. Una porta finestra dal soggiorno si apre sulla privacy di un piccolo giardino con posti a sedere in giardino recintato sul bordo del fiume. Il giardino è recintato in modo sicuro e si estende su tre lati del cottage. Il parcheggio è sul lato e sul retro del cottage.

    La porta anteriore del cottage conduce in una piccola sala e nel salotto a pianta aperta (dotato di un divano letto matrimoniale per ospiti occasionali, CTV, DVD) / sala da pranzo / cucina (con forno, piano cottura, frigorifero con ice-box, forno a microonde & lavastoviglie) con fuoco aperto; spaziosa camera da letto matrimoniale con bagno privato con doccia (con cabina doccia elettrica walk-in, lavabo e lavabo); Camera doppia; bagno (con vasca, doccia elettrica per vasca da bagno, lavabo e lavabo). Grandi porte finestre si affacciano sul fiume e si aprono sul giardino. Le camere doppie e matrimoniali si trovano nella parte posteriore del cottage e sono divise dal bagno principale.

Beautiful cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and the stream behind and private garden was a treat. The facilities as always are wonderful and I hope that the shower of herring is open fully next year.

Another Wonderful Week At Melfort Village

Our second visit and definitely don’t regret coming back. Beautiful location, wonderful accommodation and onsite facilities. Staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay a great one. Particularly enjoyed our meal at The Lord of the Isles, great food and customer service. We also ate onsite which was lovely too. Melfort Village is beautifully kept and a excellent place to go with children and your four legged friend. We would love to return again in the future.

brilliant holiday extension for us with our two dogs

Fabulous quiet spot with brilliant views and a Scottish river (decent sized babbling brook) adjacent to the garden. Very dog friendly place and a decent bar and restaurant. Couldn't ask for more.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location.

We enjoyed our stay at Melfort Village all the staff were great, friendly and very helpful, we had a problem with the heating which was dealt with without delay. We found the cottage cold but the weather on the week we were there was awful, the heating bill at the end of our stay was very expensive but they are in the process of upgrading the old storage heaters.

Highly Recommend A Stay At Melfort Village

Our family have just returned from a wonderful week at Melfort Village. Weather was amazing and the Melfort Village was just as good. Relaxing and so much to see and do. Onsite facilities were excellent. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommend eating at The Shower of Herring the restaurant onsite, Kat and her team were warm and welcoming and food delicious. Will definitely be back.

All very enjoyable but I am sure I have completed this survey last week

an excellent cottage in a very good location. It was a pity about the power cut but it did not really affect our visit. I had to book for three nights but at the time of booking I knew that I could on,y stay two nights.

Melfort Village

Blacksmiths cottage 30 December 2016. This was our first visit to this site and all I can say was everything was excellent from the welcome we got on arrival from the reception staff, the Cottage its self was very clean and well kept probably the best Rci Exchange we have had, the evening entertainment was first class and well organised. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Great few days away

There was no need for me to be worried about what to find when we got to the cottage, it was very well kitted out and cosy. Great place to get away for a while, plenty to do around the cottage and Oban is about 25 mins drive for a visit. Staff were lovely and very accommodating of our puppy. Only negative is i would have preferred feather/down bedding but understand synthetic is easier due to the chance of people with allergies/asthma etc. Will very likely return.
