    Amerai questa casa privata Ocean Bay Park con tre camere da letto e due bagni! Sii il primo a goderti il miglior upgrade a questa casa, la fantastica piscina e vasca idromassaggio con funzione acqua, pronta in tempo per la stagione 2019! Questo spazioso cottage sulla spiaggia si trova su un terreno recintato di grandi dimensioni con vegetazione lussureggiante per la privacy. Il ponte esposto a sud è il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi al sole o godersi un barbecue in famiglia! Il soggiorno è molto spazioso, con soffitti a volta e molta luce naturale. Entra nella cucina recentemente rinnovata e troverai elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile, ripiani in quarzo e tutti gli utensili e le attrezzature di cui avrai bisogno per preparare i pasti cucinati in casa durante il tuo soggiorno. Le porte scorrevoli forniscono l'accesso diretto dalla cucina sul ponte. Tutte le camere sono arredate in modo confortevole e ognuna ha un'unità di aria condizionata. The house felt very much like a used rental house that has not been kept up v. a nice home (as we assumed by the pictures). We stepped on two rusty nail tacks (one in the pool, one on the deck), got multiple splinters because the deck has not been treated and the hot tub indicated that it had not been serviced in 173 days. The outdoor shower also didn’t work and the lawn was unusable (bricks everywhere, filled with dirt, etc.). There was no guide in the house to indicate what restaurants were nearby, etc. like you would normally find. I’ve never rented through Vacasa, only direct with a homeowner so this may have been the issue.

Amazing home and would book again but....

The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of the response rate on issues. The combinations to the bike locks were incorrect and when I called and messaged someone about it no one responded. They had 7 bikes we couldn't use because of this which was disappointing since it was something we were looking forward to using while staying at OBP. Also they haven't cleaned the hot tub which was also an amenity that was something we were looking forward to using while we stayed there. The house itself though was overall so beautiful and clean! Regardless of those hiccups everyone had an amazing time and the house itself creates an amazing space that is so secluded and because of this we would definitely book again.

Terrible management company!

This is the ONLY low rating I have ever given to any house we have rented. From the moment we booked until we checked out, the communication with Vacasa rental customer service was terrible! They were rude, and unprofessional -hard to believe Vacasa is in hospitality business. Each customer service person gave a different information or copied/pasted language from the listing rather than actually answering the questions. It’s like renting a house from ChatGPT. Would never rent from Vacasa again and don’t recommend Vacasa to anyone. I wished I have seen Vacasa Fire Island reviews on google before. It’s 1.7 and I think it’s generous. House- The house has a nice structure, good rooms, nice pool, good location. YET….. Dirty. We had to wash all dishes and kitchen surfaces. Food stuck on the plates and glasses. Kitchen cabinets and drawers with stains and dust. Dishwasher does not clean well. Bathroom sink with stains and smelled. Towels stained and smelly. Things were just sloppy- no care for the guests or guests’ experience by the management company. The worst rental customer service experience. AVOID if you see Vacasa as a host.

LOVE THIS HOUSE

We've been staying all over Fire Island for years and we're finally found our favorite house! We will be back every summer. Slight draw back was that they wouldn't let us use the bikes, which we were told were included. We'd happily sign a waiver or leave a deposit for bikes but we were just told no. Kinda sucked, but, that being said, the house is gorgeous, pool is great. Kitchen. All you need. We loved it! Bummed about the bikes as all our other houses always include them. But other than that, we love it and we'll be back!

Although Tropical Storm Henri was bearing down on Fire Island Vacasa made it very easy to decide what to do after the storm passed. Luckily this house was not affected. This House was well appointed everything was orderly and clean. Pool and hot tub were cleaned mid week. Great location with privacy, plenty of bikes, close to beach. We had no complaints other then we should have stayed longer .

Perfect home

Not only was the house gorgeous, it was clean and organized. I’ve rented several houses in fire island and there’s always ants. This house had not one bug. The pool was clutch with kids. They never wanted to get out. They even swam in the rain. The kids loved playing in the loft. The house was pet friendly; even had food bowls for our doodle. Totally safe, yard was fully gated with a keypad entry. Close to ocean, Flynn’s, deli. House had 6 Bicycles and they were high end. Everything about this house was high end. Worth every penny. Will 100% be back next summer

A slice of paradise!

Our group of 5 adults and 5 kids had such a wonderful stay at this property. Ocean Bay Park is a world away without having to travel far. Your have that "on vacation" feeling as soon as you board the ferry. The community is quiet, easily walkable and the property itself is convenient to dining, shopping and the beach. There was a wagon waiting for us at the Ferry terminal to help cart our belongings to the house. It was no more than a 2-minute walk to anything. If you want to travel to another part of Fire Island, there are numerous bikes provided and the ride is easy and pleasant. The beach was absolutely beautiful and the pool at the house was an amazing additional amenity that the kids loved. The house also had plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use. It is a perfect little oasis. The house itself is adorable, well-appointed, comfortable and clean. We hope to return again in the future!

You’ll have everything on this fire island home with charming decor, clean, modern pool and tub and steps from beach. Note this is in ocean bay about a mile from ocean beach. Also not a place for someone who has pet allergies 🤧

House looked like the photos but for the price point I thought it would be a little better. Location was great. The central living room was a nice size with bedrooms and the kitchens to both sides. The kitchen was clean and had most basics. The house sleeps 10 but can’t seat 10 together for a meal. The house was generally clean as in there was no dust under the beds but not super clean. AC filters were covered in dust. One bedroom smelled moldy. There was mold in both bathrooms showers, one shower leaked very badly, the front gate didn’t close well and the sliding door from the kitchen didn’t lock. The kids loved the pool and jacuzzi but got bad ear infections and I think it was because the water wasn’t treated. We contacted Vacasa the day we got there to tell them the pool filters stopped and were off and were told they were supposed to be. Water was dirty, cloudy and the pool wasn't heated. When it was Pool service day the gentleman who was serving it looked shocked someone would say the filters shouldn’t be running. Hot tub wasn’t the cleanest as well. Again for the price point they are renting this Id expect a little more

Perfect Beach House

The pool and hot tub were the best features. It’s a perfect beach house with lots of room and a very close walk to the beach. One complaint is that one of the doors does not lock at all. Also, getting in touch with management was not as easy as we would have hoped it to be, especially during and after a tropical storm. Overall the house was a great summer getaway. Improvements in the management department would make our overall experience perfect.

Great house, lacking security

The house had many more amenities then listed. We loved everything about it. The only complaint is that that security door key pad didn't work and we were able to easily open the door just by pulling it.
