Hotel a Ocean Beach

“This place has gone DOWNHILL. Everything is old. Paint chipping. Furniture chipping. Absolutely NOT worth the $$$ and will NEVER stay here again. We have stayed here before years ago. The rooms are ridiculously small. Very disappointed overall”

“Blanket had a brown stain on it and when we told the desk all they did was take off the blanket so we had to call for a replacement. The shower water was hot for about 5 seconds than ran cold.”

“Very clean. Easy to get to. Listing as described. Bed and furniture are nice and comfy. Only thing I would add is a broom and dust pain and some Clorox wipes so guest can keep it neat. 5 stars! Very nice host. ”

“Everything was perfect”

“The room was very clean and very big. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. Staff was very friendly at check-in. The location was very convenient right off the LIE. The area had restaurants, Starbucks, and a Walmart. There was an outdoor patio for grilling and a fire pit. The breakfast in the morning had a good selection -fruit, cereal, baked goods, yogurt and more.”

“We had a series of small issues...a phone that didn't work, an AC unit that kept switching to heat, a hotel sign that didn't work, causing us to drive by the property twice the first night ( the hotel is set off on a side road rather than on the street in it's address. The major problem was a severe injury due to the mattress not being set correctly on it's metal base, so the edge of the brace stuck out, causing major bruising. Allof these issues, I believe were the result of carelessness.”

“First off when you first walk in the lobby it’s extremely hot no real ac the vending machines are there but empty fridges are empty everything is empty also the hot water in the rooms didn’t work room was hot ac didn’t work well in the rooms even crappy hotel will not be going back also the pool outside looked extremely dirty and was brown”

“Super friendly staff! Cozy B&B feel. Great location, walk to town or train station! LIRR and Pines super convenient. Amazing authentic chef made-to-order breakfast!! (And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

“Place is a dump but clean. I paid a lot of money because everything else was booked. It is the kind of place you meet a lady of the night. Guys were dinking beer outside at 1AM There was a cop sitting in the parking lot at 7am. To get key had to go into a plexiglass room that says “ only one person allowed at at time for “privacy “” BUT the room was clean, looked clean and smelled clean. Literally every other hotel on Long Island was booked Don’t stay here unless you have to”

“Niente a che fare con la vecchia tradizione La Quinta. Struttura vecchia , ha bisogno di molta manutenzione. Con molta sorpresa il secondo giorno camera non rifatta. Alle nostre rimostranze abbiamo scoperto che adesso lo fanno solo su richiesta ”

“Rooms seem newly renovated. Very clean and spacious, TV offers Netflix and such. Only downside is you only get 2 pillows which are so thin.”
