Perfect location to the ferry and so easy to get around (beach and food). We were taken care of very well and always happy to have some free coffee and fruit!

Owners are awesome, great location. You get what you pay for as the cheaper rooms are really tiny and no TV or anything. Very loud

The manager was SO nice. You can tell that he truly cares. We checked in very late and he still made an effort to accommodate us and was very caring.

Always an ok stay

It’s close to ferry but also close to bars which don’t close and are super insane loud until 2am, feel you’re on top of bar. But there are Minimal places to stay on ocean beach so it is what it is, just know what you’re paying for ahead of time. Staff are super nice

They take good care of you. Water melon and lemon water is available all day. The hotel was built in the 40's, but was nicely renovated. Bathrooms are shared but very clean.

Pleasant stay if you have managed expectations

loved how close it was to the ferry, literally steps away. and loved the use of bikes, beach chairs and umbrella that came with the room. the town is super cute and the beach is beautiful but be warned, on Friday and Saturday nights its legit the jersey shore, music blasting until really late. and the bars are right across from cleggs. I brought noise canceling headphones so I was fine. shared bathroom was not bad at all bc theyre singles with a shower and toilet you can lock the door. Tyler the owner was very nice and accommodating. I had a great stay here.

I liked the fact that it is located 10 steps from the ferry exit. The hotel is very clean, staff is very friendly. You do feel wlecome. Thanks Taylor! We stayed at a regular room for two with a shared bathroom. I was worried about that, but I was suprised how easy it was. There are 6 bathrooms and they are super clean, spacious and very bright. It is located near stores, ice cream shops, restaurants and the beach is about 10 mins walk. Great beach. Very safe, very peaceful and police is always around checking that people follow rules. I would definitely come back to this hotel for more days!

Overall it was ok. Overwhelming smell of air freshener and the ac was loud in room 4. No Tv and no chair by the desk in the room. Also the ferry terminal walkway was right there so you get woken up by people at 7am walking past the room. However, close to everything and accommodating with keeping the luggage till the ferry time. Also bicycles were a nice option to use as well as beach chairs and umbrella.

We stayed one night and this hotel was awesome. First, they allow a 11:30 am check in which is rare. We were visiting friends so we dropped bags off and came back late night but it was convenient be able to do so. The room was immaculate and even though the bathrooms are shared, you get the full bathroom to yourself when you use it. The location is great just outside the ferry terminal. It’s very loud at night but we brought earplugs. Most importantly, staff are very friendly and held on to our bags until 2 pm the next day. They also offer coffee, fruits and pastry bites which was unexpected. In conclusion, well worth the money and I highly recommend.

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised by this dorm-style hotel! The rooms were incredibly clean and well-maintained, creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere. I loved the fresh lemon and mint water available to guests. Our room was supplied with two beach chairs and a beach umbrella - all in great condition. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms super clean and private. What’s more, we felt safe. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and always went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or assisting with luggage, their service was outstanding. The hotel is just steps away from the ferry and right at the heart of action in the town of Ocean Beach. If you're a light sleeper, pack earplugs. The area comes alive at night! Overall if you're looking for a clean, convenient, and enjoyable stay, I highly recommend this hotel! We look forward to coming back.

I was a little worried about having a shared bathroom situation in a hotel, but it turned out to be totally fine! They were clean and large and felt pretty private. The owner, Tyler, was super sweet to me and allowed me to refrigerate my wine! He was extremely accomodating overall and has the cutest dog. They had some pastries available from breakfast until they are gone, and fruit as well. They also have some fruit/mint infused water if that's your thing. The room smelled super nice, like an ocean breeze candle, was clean, and was much larger than expected. Overall no frills, but plenty of space for luggage and came with some backpack beach chairs in the closet and bikes available for use. The location is amazing, right in the middle of the strip with all the shops, bars, and restaurants. It seemed like it might be loud, but when i went to sleep the AC was definitely able to drown it out. I did think it was a little strange that they turned the AC off when they came to clean, but we just switched it back on so it was cool when we came back for a nap, etc later. I would definitely stay here again!

Overpriced

Way too expensive for the condition of the hotel. Location is good. Called them three times over three days to provide information they requested. I never received a call back from any of the three messages I left.
